The HW division is a weak division. Its entertaining as f#ck, but its not deep.
I could go back a few years and name a few fighters Wilder could have fought before they became non-top10..... but who Wilder avoided because they were undefeated. Helenius, Dimitrenko..... would have been good wins when they were unbeaten.
And I cant think of any more right now because I am drunk and can't be arsed getting google out....I'm sure I missed a lot, alot of fighter that WOULD have been good wins and fun fights for Wilder.....but we have no one on that list, just Stiverne, who wasn't in my top 15 at the time......
can you see why I don't rate Wilder?

are these guys just throwing all the eggs in one basket? are they not lining up another ranked guy just in case? what if Povetkin pulled out?
The fact is they were forced to fight Povetkin, they didn't make the fight at all, they were forced to go, and when Povetkin got popped, they had no one and then fought bums since.
Joshua had Pulev, and then had TAKAM waiting for him when he pulled out, both legit top 10 HW's..... there is no excuse for 9 years without fighting any one in the top 10.

If you think Ortiz is any good you haven't been paying attention, he has never fought any one and has looked like sheat for 3 years.

And fair play if you don't think Wilder is sh^t. A lot of people don't too.
But the thing is who was he supposed to fight besides Bermane last time out & who's he supposed to fight next time out besides Ortiz that are so f#cking impressive that just totally changes everything? Thats the topic you seemingly started this thread on is those two guys specifically.
And I'm with you on the corruption bs. I can't name a non-corrupt way Bermane got a rematch with Wilder. And personally I think Ortiz is HIGHLY overrated (more overrated than Wilder oddly enough lol). Who should he have fought though that don't have huge f#cking issues with them to doe is the thing? Its a shallow division bro.

This is a shallow a$$ division. Its not like there are many low key great fights vs overly deserving guys to make anyone isn't thinking about.
