The division is filled with active fighters and deserving fighters. Why hasn't Wilder fought Ortiz before? Why hasn't Wilder fought any legit top 10 HW in 9 years?

No we couldn't. parker has fought Takam, Ruiz, Hughie Fury and is fighting AJ next!!! lol

AJ has fought Breazeale, Klitschko, Takam and is away to fight Parker!!!! lol

both are young fighters who have done more than Wilder in 2 years than he has done in 9!!!! lol

How can you defend avoiding all those fighters for 9 years?
Wilder had fights lined up with Povetkin and Ortiz in the past, and both were cancelled due to Povetkin and Ortiz pissing dirty, which is why Steverne II happened on such short notice.

Name alternative fighters he should have fought outside of Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker?

No there are clearly good and bad boxers, and there is good fights and bad fights, and there are loads of HW's that would have been a good fight for Wilder, guys like Klitschko (both), Fury, Ortiz (3 years ago), Povetkin, Pulev, Takam, Jennings, Joshua, Chisora (a motivated Chisora going for a WBC belt, like Vitali), Browne (a fun fight with 2 ko punchers who are dog****e).....ok lets name a few more, Parker (good, young and tested durable opponent), Ruiz (quick hands and not an easy fight for any one), Takam (been in my top 10 for years, good boxer, no weakness) hughie Fury (made Parker look bad, best defence I've seen a HW possess).

I could go back a few years and name a few fighters Wilder could have fought before they became non-top10..... but who Wilder avoided because they were undefeated. Helenius, Dimitrenko..... would have been good wins when they were unbeaten.

And I cant think of any more right now because I am drunk and can't be arsed getting google out....I'm sure I missed a lot, alot of fighter that WOULD have been good wins and fun fights for Wilder.....but we have no one on that list, just Stiverne, who wasn't in my top 15 at the time......

can you see why I don't rate Wilder?

I can name loads of boxers who have better records than Ortiz in the last 3 years...

I dont think its all on Wilder, just as much Haymon, doubt he gives a **** who has the titles just aslong as they can be recycled within PBC. The effort it takes to get someone outside PBC a mandatory shot, if its a PBC fighter the fight happens straight away.

Not an excuse when you are champion. As Joshua proved when he got the next highest ranked opponent to fill in for Pulev.

are these guys just throwing all the eggs in one basket? are they not lining up another ranked guy just in case? what if Povetkin pulled out?

The fact is they were forced to fight Povetkin, they didn't make the fight at all, they were forced to go, and when Povetkin got popped, they had no one and then fought bums since.

Joshua had Pulev, and then had TAKAM waiting for him when he pulled out, both legit top 10 HW's..... there is no excuse for 9 years without fighting any one in the top 10.

I can name over 5 that are more deserving and active/not 38. GTFO you casual.

If you think Ortiz is any good you haven't been paying attention, he has never fought any one and has looked like sheat for 3 years.

Okay I'm not gonna knock holes in those guys cuz I'm not even talking about all that in the first place like I mentioned previously.

And fair play if you don't think Wilder is sh^t. A lot of people don't too.

But the thing is who was he supposed to fight besides Bermane last time out & who's he supposed to fight next time out besides Ortiz that are so f#cking impressive that just totally changes everything? Thats the topic you seemingly started this thread on is those two guys specifically.

And I'm with you on the corruption bs. I can't name a non-corrupt way Bermane got a rematch with Wilder. And personally I think Ortiz is HIGHLY overrated (more overrated than Wilder oddly enough lol). Who should he have fought though that don't have huge f#cking issues with them to doe is the thing? Its a shallow division bro.

LOL was Takam a legit top ten guy???? I'm legit asking cuz I didn't even realize if he was, but holy f#ck if he was then wtf are we even talking about????

This is a shallow a$$ division. Its not like there are many low key great fights vs overly deserving guys to make anyone isn't thinking about.
