Griffin totally outfeinted and outboxed Roy when he beat him. It was quite funny really.

It's hilarious because you genuinely believe this ****.

250 lbs a few weeks before the fight?

I think we can throw that one in the box with "James Toney was in hosptial on a drip fighting for his life the night before the Jones fight" "James Toney nearly lost to Sosa because he hadn't studied Ezzard Charles yet" and "Roy Jones had a hard time with James Toney"

        Stayed around 160? Complete b*llocks.

Total delusion amd fantasy. It's almost sad.

No, not true Jones had a contract from HBO that was a 5 million a fight deal regardless who he fought. This was abused by Jones who fought paper contenders who were mandatory contenders. He also seemed to fight every branch of the civil service.

Jones stated why would I fight tough Euro's like Darius for a shade more money than I make feasting on Tony Thorton types. He was also paranoid of getting robbed in England if he couldn't knock out Collins.

A Futch-less Griffin with no time to warm-up before going to the ring.

5 million a fight!? Don't make me laugh. Not even Hamed got that from HBO years later and he was a much bigger star in the US than Jones.

Hamed made more from Sky PPV than HBO.
