to reiterate a point about lil g

LOL!Yea, and? So ward's reasoning for not wanting to fight in 2013 is more valid than ggg already having a fight signed and wanting the winner of cotto vs Canelo? If it was a serious offer, it would have been revisited. Things just didn't line up for these guys...simple as that.
Ward was injured and in court with his promoter in 2013.
G having a fight with Lemieux signed was irrelevant since the offer Ward sent in 2015 allowed each man to fight one opponent BEFORE they would meet.
So yeah, it's more valid.
And it was a serious offer...that was turned down in a half hour.
Which means there was NO INTENTION TO EVEN TRY NEGOTIATIONS.
They didn't want any part of Ward...period.
BTW, G went on to fight Dominic Wade and Kell Brook in 2016.
I think a Ward fight could have happened instead of a mando with a guy under house arrest (and real arrest) or one with a blown up welterweight.Last edited by koolkc107; 11-25-2017, 08:17 PM.Comment

Bubububububububut...Golovkin said he wanted to fight Ward. They're clearly lil G's biggest fans, dawg.
They believe only number one p4p Ward could beat lil G.
They were dying to see big Ward cherrypick lil G.
Huge bar to climb for lil G.
Even the Charlo sisters were never expected to fight #1 p4p's in their debut fights on moving up.
Broner only had to fight Malignaggi.
Fury and AJ only had to fight aging, non prime Klitsch in their own division to obtain legitimacy. Beyontay only had to fight human punching bag Stiverne twice.
Not lil G. He has to fight the #1p4p SOG at his weight.
You'll never see anything like it.
Called him out by name.
I think that is the difference from those other examples.
But, you continue to see it like ya wanta!Comment

You're citing details that you don't know to be true just cuz it confirms your bias. You could also say the fight could have been made with interim fights in 2013 and that it was a serious offer that ward rejected on the spot. You could also say loffler made a serious offer for a cw fight that ward rejected. This is why this day and age of "negotiating" in the media annoys me. Neither side was very serious about the fight evidently, and it never got made. Ward may have been more interested in it cuz he had less options for a lucrative fight, but it doesn't seem he made a very serious attempt to get it done...acting like he was some type of A side didn't really help either.LOL!

We're pathetic slugs and your a loser idiot so what else is new. Why did you bother with the long preamble. Just post the punch line which is always the same and save everyone the bother of reading your drivel.to build off what floyds mask said
some of you get all upset when people point out flaws about lil g...and then come to his defense "oh its sad when these fanboys come out here and call the true MW champ lil g...shows how sad u are"
oh really?
it might be sad if internet fans came up with the name
its not sad when a 2 divison champ, unbeaten, hall of famer does it....ward is boxing...done more than any fanboy...so when he says it and coins the term its ok to use for us message boarders
its not anyone elses fault that ward pulled down golovkin skirt and revealed the true golovkin...i know some of u still refuse to admit or acknowledge it....but it happened
ward asked him to come play with a real big boy....a fight at 168...instead golovkin decided to pull up kell brook and chase a guy you all claimed lara beat(of course u claimed this when u thought canelo was ducking)....u all said there was no reason for golovkin to fight lara because hed kill him..lol...yet u claimed lara beat canelo when u thought canelo was hiding
golovkin will never rate higher on any credible AT list than ward...and ward is the one who coined the term...not the online fans...remember that...and remember why you pathetic slugsComment

Ward wants to fight floyd at 160, says no to GGG generous offer at 164. Apparently, its only good for ward to make people come down a division. Spare me that Dawson said he would. We all know ward says alot of crap he doesnt stay true to. Golovkin becomes the clear a side after beating canelo and robbed on cards. Ward knows he has no leverage to negotiate with the a side and retires instead.
Golovkin will always rank higher and be more remembered than ward.Comment

I didn't watch Ward/Brand. Wasn't interested in that mismatch plus I don't like watching Ward in general.
Brand was one of the options for Ward's return, but he went with Rohan Murdock but it didn't get sanctioned thus my mistake.
You just don't like what I'm saying and have no reasonable answer for it so you're nit-picking irrelevant shyt from posts to claim victory over like a woman. Next you'll be correcting my grammar.

And what did Ward do when HBO offered the fight to both?Originally posted by koolkc107;[B18242591]Bubububububububut...Golovkin said he wanted to fight Ward.

He said NO and said something about his shoulder.
Ward's fake offer came five years late.
Only fools would take such offer seriously.
It's like offering a job too late when the applicant is already doing fantastic.
Nah. People ain't that ****** dawg.
But keep on chanting the same silly mantra.
Meanwhile, the great Glovkin is being honored in Mexico and is having a fantastic time.Last edited by rickJen; 11-26-2017, 08:46 AM.Comment

If I say something is a fact, it is a fact.
We do know that there was an offer that was sent in 2015.
We do know it was turned down in a half hour.
We do know the excuse given was lame, that the Lemieux fight being signed would not have prevented Ward and G from fighting after.
Those are facts.
How you deal with them is up to you.Comment
