Ward's definitely on my "All Time Boring List".
I'm pretty sure Andre's in the running for "Shortest Hi-Lite Clip" of any title holder.
Ward's creative though, he's the only fighter I've seen who uses a headbutt to land a low blow.
Golovkin's got flaws but boring ain't one of them.

      Far from it.

And the fact that you equate the two different things underscores your fandom.

And it easy to offer a fight to someone who is recovering from a serious shoulder injury, which is what is rumored to have happened in 2013.

      That's right, rumor.

We have no proof that an offer was actually made at an HBO meeting in 2013; but we will assume it happened since Ward has never denied it (and frankly why should he since he was injured AND in the middle of promotional problems).

But we do know an offer was made by Ward in 2015...and turned down in a half hour.

We do know the offer made by Ward was actually a counter proposal made in response to Loeffler offering a 164 lb catchweight, this when they were OK with 168 for other super-middles.

We also know that the offer was made by Ward before they had any knowledge of the Lemieux fight and the offer allowed each fighter to take an interim fight beforehand, making any argument that Golovkin was already signed a moot point.

As for your take that Ward was forced by HBO to move up because they didn't want to pay for him to fight "mismatches vs. Brand"...YOU DO KNOW THAT BRAND WAS THE SECOND FIGHT OF HIS 3 FIGHT DEAL WITH HBO, RIGHT?

They didn't force Ward to do shyt- no one forces Ward to do shyt as evidenced by his retirement. Ward does things his own way.

Again, all you just did is prove that you are a fanboy.

You know all about Triple G, but are casual when it comes to other fighters in the sport.

      Nice try tho...
No, not really. Golovkin saying he'll fight anyone from 154-168 and Ward saying he wants Klitschko and AJ is the same: the wanted to get paid. It really is that simple. You can say it's not, but GGG and Andre had that on mind when they said it.

The offer was made when Golovkin had Cotto and Canelo as his possible opponents. Bigger pay days. You're either a dense fanboy who don't know how boxing and business in general works or you're just...well you.

Oh my bad, I mistaken Brand for Rohan. Another ATG.

In my defence, Brand was one of the possible oppenents too at the time.

This, I will not respond to.

I will let others doe, so they could see how objective you are when it comes to Andre Ward.

But, apparently Golovkin fanboys don't see it that way.

        Golvkin's own words:

“At our meeting with HBO they asked us whether we are ready to box. You know our answers – I said yes, you said no. You said something about your shoulder or promoter – I’m not interested in the reason, I only heard your ‘no.’” Golovkin ended with some particularly harsh words aimed directly at his rival: “As a man, you are dead to me”.
Neither of these situation ever made it to serious negotiations, so picking and choosing which is a duck with limited information is ****** and just reveals haters and fanboys.

          oh really?

it might be sad if internet fans came up with the name

its not sad when a 2 divison champ, unbeaten, hall of famer does it....ward is boxing...done more than any fanboy...so when he says it and coins the term its ok to use for us message boarders

its not anyone elses fault that ward pulled down golovkin skirt and revealed the true golovkin...i know some of u still refuse to admit or acknowledge it....but it happened

ward asked him to come play with a real big boy....a fight at 168...instead golovkin decided to pull up kell brook and chase a guy you all claimed lara beat(of course u claimed this when u thought canelo was ducking)....u all said there was no reason for golovkin to fight lara because hed kill him..lol...yet u claimed lara beat canelo when u thought canelo was hiding

golovkin will never rate higher on any credible AT list than ward...and ward is the one who coined the term...not the online fans...remember that...and remember why you pathetic slugs
Ward coined the term Li'l Floyd too, when he was challenging Floyd to fight him at 160.

Why did did Ward call Floyd and Golovkin li'l?

Obviously because they are both significantly smaller than him. He still said he wasn't ready to fight GGG in 2013 doe ... he needed a couple of tune-ups first.

Err, more of your fanboy showing.

            Rohan is actually Rohan Murdock.

And it had nothing to do with HBO...the NSAC blocked the bout.

The reason why what Ward was saying regarding heavys and what G was saying regarding 154-168 is that Ward was talking about doing it "someday or sometime down the road" while G was talking about right now. Ward was saying "it's possible" while G was saying he would take on anyone who wanted some- though of course only one of them actually fought in more than one weight class, and it wasn't G.

Here's video of Ward talking about heavyweights. It seems like he is saying they need to find the right guy, and that heavy might not be Wlad:

Yes, Golovkin was saying 'right now'. But that was before he became a star. He wanted names, he wanted paydays!

What I'm trying to tell you is, Golovkin and Ward are very much alike. They're after money.

You really think Golovkin wouldn't have fought Ward had Cotto and Canelo fights weren't on the table?

You really think Ward wouldn't have called out Huck instead of Klitschko (or any other beatable CW) if he they were a big pay day?

              Common sense, bro.

If it wasn't for the same small group of people who don't like GGG constantly making GGG threads/posts, then he really wouldn't be talked about that much on her at all. Just the same kind of traffic as most other fighters on here.

His fans certainly don't talk, complain, whatever, more than his haters do about him.

To click on poster's post histories and see they have an account solely for talking about GGG is depressing.

So the truth is being a hater?

                    How sway...

Golovkin was sent an offer and he turned it down in a half an hour.

There was no negotiation because G flat out did not want to fight Ward.

                    Period.

There were no excuses, he just swerved Ward.
