    plain and simple
People are actually saying this like it's supposed to mean something

I voted Parker, he's done more to deserve it but i'd be more excited by the Wilder fight.

... AFTER Wilder has done something that would warrant this fight.

Winning the WBC belt 2 years ago (3-4 at the time of the fight) ain't gonna cut it, sorry. He hasn't beaten anyone before or since then. Nor does it look like he will.

Yeah, I get it, Povetkin and Ortiz getting caught weren't his fault, but it doesn't change the fact that Wilder has a worse resume than at least 5 guys in the divison: AJ, Povetkin, Ortiz ,Pulev and Parker.

Which brings me to my next point.

Parker just like Wilder has a belt, so the 'it's a unification doe' excuse Wilder fans love to use goes out of the window. Like Wilder, he has poor skills and and visible flaws. However, he has a better resume than Wilder. Not much better, but it's better nonetheless. He also is a big star in his country so his potential fight vs Wilder would be a financial success as well.

So why do certain people feel Wilder deserves this fight more than Parker?

'that Alabama power doe'? - the same power Wilder couldn't knock out with the only decent opponent he's fought? Parker can **** too.

Or maybe it's because Deontay is American, loud and posts emotional videos on social media?
You are a miserable c*nt. Going on and on about why the fight everyone wants to see at HW shouldn't happen. What is wrong with you?

I want the best vs the best. You want the best vs an American.

Beating Stiverne and emotional rants on social media aren't enough for me the consider Wilder the best.

And who said I don't want to see it, sure I do. After Wilder proves he's what he says he is. Right now, he's Michael Grant with an Instagram account. Sorry.

We must have very different definitions of what talent is, having good genetics does not equate to 'talent' imo.

it is literally genetic variation and the subsequent aptitude. in this case, wilder is fast, big, and powerful, and those are talents in boxing.
Nope, your definition of talent is wrong, and you need to change it if you want to have intelligible discussions with other fans, as the reference to Valuev illustrates.

What you are calling talents are physical gifts or attributes, like Valuev's huge size. Boxing talent is something else, and Wilder doesn't have a lot of it.

The Furies cousins are equally talented, but Tyson is better than Hughie because of his greater size and enormous reach, which are physical attributes.

Hughie was no where near the top 15 at the time and had 3 weeks notice.

Pretty poor bragging about calling out a top 40 don't you think?
