Why does Wilder deserves the fight more than Joseph Parker?

First things first. I'm not against Wilder/AJ and do want to see this fight...

... AFTER Wilder has done something that would warrant this fight.

Winning the WBC belt 2 years ago (3-4 at the time of the fight) ain't gonna cut it, sorry. He hasn't beaten anyone before or since then. Nor does it look like he will.

Yeah, I get it, Povetkin and Ortiz getting caught weren't his fault, but it doesn't change the fact that Wilder has a worse resume than at least 5 guys in the divison: AJ, Povetkin, Ortiz ,Pulev and Parker.

Which brings me to my next point.

Parker just like Wilder has a belt, so the 'it's a unification doe' excuse Wilder fans love to use goes out of the window. Like Wilder, he has poor skills and and visible flaws. However, he has a better resume than Wilder. Not much better, but it's better nonetheless. He also is a big star in his country so his potential fight vs Wilder would be a financial success as well.

So why do certain people feel Wilder deserves this fight more than Parker?

'that Alabama power doe'? - the same power Wilder couldn't knock out with the only decent opponent he's fought? Parker can **** too.

Or maybe it's because Deontay is American, loud and posts emotional videos on social media?

Because Wilder unlike Parker and Joshua beat a legit champion for his title, YES! Bermane was globally recognized top 3 in the weight class like it or not. Deontay is the longest reigning champion with almost more KO's than Parker and Joshua have fights.

wilder's a much better talent, and a better fighter than parker, it's a much more exciting matchup, and he brings much more money and american TV to the table. it's a key ingredient in joshua becoming a star in america, beating wilder. parker will not help him much in that regard.


pretty obvious why he'll get the fight.


particularly for the big fights at HW the only people who say "well his resume isn't quite as good" are hardcore boxing fans. casuals will eat wilder vs joshua up. they're exaclty what people want to see and expect at HW.

Both have pretty much equal resumes but i chose Parker bwcause Beyonce is acting like such an entitled lady about it.
