This better for you? Quillin is the tallest guy in this picture and he's listed at 5'11, he's 6'0 at the most. But g tards want us to believe DJ is 6'1.

DLH and Jacobs are practically the same height, DJ is NOT 6'1. You g tards will believe anything.

Now here is a pic of Quillin next to 6'2 Lee.

pavlik was a huge middle. him and mcclellan were two of the biggest mw champs ever.

miranda was big for 160, he rehydrated a lot and had trouble making weight when he fought pav

canelo is stocky and weighs a lot because of his fat ginger legs but isn't tall and does not have long arms.

if pavlik took care of himself he'd still be boxing for millions of dollars. he's only 35.

you guys complained because Jacobs was bigger than GGG

          Pavlik was HUGE

not convinced that GGG could beat prime Pavlik or Martinez

I would have slightly favored him over both until I saw what happened when he faced fast/skilled fighters like Brook Jacobs and Canelo

Agreed, just because something happened in the past doesn't mean we should glorify it.

I'm glad that GGG walks around at say, 164 at the most.

That's how it's supposed to be.

Dudes should fight in their natural weight division, not try to create mismatches by fighting guys who are naturally 15 pounds lighter than them.

Don't hate me for what I'm gonna way but I think a Total Primer GGG would've battered Pavlik.

Marvin Hagler, which is one of the best MW's of all time was 5′ 9',

I think that the Pavlik era was just one where big guys were making extreme weight cuts to fight at 160, I base that on the fact that most of those MW's moved up later.

The MW's of this time are guys who are physically more closer naturally to the weight and while there might be just a few names I strongly think that the elite fighters at 160 of this era would've given problems to those guys. (Except maybe for Prime Bernard Hopkins, the guy was just special)

Size is not always the best.

                    it abso-fkn-lutely does

why burn history just because you love Golovkin ?

I very rarely agree with you

you have a typical skewed " fan " viewpoint

                    the WHOLE story is this.....

the determining factor for greatness is.....

who you beat, with consideration given to when/how

                    NOTHING else

the number of divisions you represented, is completely irrelevant

Willie Pep only ever fought in one division

but, here is the point you are missing.....

the guys who fought in multiple divisions had more opportunities to face elite/great fighters

Golovkin has a very average resume, fighting in a stagnant middleweight era..... and he did not move up - or make any type of concessions - to chase bigger/better fights.....

whichever way a fighter chooses to manage his career, the results will speak for themselves..... and results = resume

                    names ONLY..... NO excuses

THAT is the whole story..... not just the bit that you thought reflected well on Golovkin
