This is the way the division should look. Fighters being closer to their fighting weight in between fights, not walking around at cruiserweight and draining down, then rehydrating 20+ pounds on fight night.

You think Canelo gave ggg a stylistic problem? Wtf do you think Abraham would do? Abraham is significantly bigger, more durable, hits WAY harder than Canelo and was great at counter punching off the ropes.

It took BIG, elite, SUPER middles to beat him, he was still capable of defeating Taylor which is still a better win than anyone ggg or DJ has beaten.

6'2 Dirrel with his insane reflexes/speed, 6'0 ATG Ward strong as an ox, 6'1 Froch with his crazy power/durability etc. These types of fighters do NOT exist in the current MW division both from a talent and physical stand point.

5'11 Jacobs was capable of giving ggg trouble with his physicality and power, again I ask you, wtf do you think these fighters would do to him.

Miranda only ever lost to elite KO artists and recently went 10 with Dorticos, he was a monster at 160 with his 77" wingspan and raw strength/physicality.


The problem with you saying these guys like Miranda and Abraham aren't special is that they were better than fighters like Andy Lee who wasn't elite in their era but is in this era.

Lee was behind Abraham and Miranda in the past era yet in this era he's capable of going toe to toe with BJS, Peter Quillin, Korobov etc.


At 35, 5 years past his prime and several beatings later Abraham was still capable of defeating Murray. What exactly do you think he does to him in his prime?
