At this level its about protecting zero. Ward didnt want GGG at 160 as he knew hed lose to GGG.
Beating Kovalev doesnt equate to beating GGG. GGG is better than Kov.

After GGGs last 3 fights its obvious Ward beats the breaks off him and its only one division not many divisions like others have gone.
Ward doesn't beat the breaks off anybody. He gets fake wins handed to him by corrupt officials.

GGG was ready to fight Ward in 2013 and Ward ruled himself out. Prime GGG would have crushed him at 168 and he knew it.

Ward didn't beat Kovalev fairly in either of their fights and his fake fans know it.

What was the difference between li'l g and li'l floyd?

They were both smaller men and bigger names than Ward. One would have crushed him at 160, 164 and 168. We all know which one that was and so did Ward.

why did GG want to go down to fight Floyd but not Canelo

So here we are three pages in and all I have from Ward fans is excuses, insults and deflection. Still no credible reason why Ward would fight Floyd at 160 but not GGG. Back to my original question which is still unanswered, why?
money same reason GGG would fight Floyd at 154 but not canelo at 155

Some very intelligent posters like Red Fox gave you some very compelling reasons why Anybody, not just Ward, would chase Floyd. Its the payday, and McGregor was willing to get pasted for that kind of money also. Its also the bravado, Floyd talks and people talk back.

Ward has a history of fighting tough opponents what would scare him about GGG? Ward fought in a tournament where the best fighters from the division were put in the mix, that would be like someone putting all the heavyweight prospects to fight each other and one man standing. So what is it in Ward's disposition suggests that he would fear GGG?

Thats the problem with the fools who keep this argument up, there is no pattern, no motive, no reason to this conclusion.

Finally, hey! if I am deathly afraid of garter snakes but will fight a rattler at the drop of a hat...what difference does it make? After beating a bunch of physical fighters, like Froch, and Kessler, etc and making it look easy, instead of dismantling another one, (garter snake ggg) he went after the big bad Rattler named Kovalev. So...again what if Ward did fear GGG? (he didn't just saying), he fought a much bigger, more dangerous opponent.

I mean think...If Ward dismantled whom he did, what does GGG have to throw at him that he didn't see at that weight?
And people with biased viewpoints can't get out of their own way.

Five paragraphs from you and still no valid reason for Ward to agree to fight Floyd at 160 but not GGG at 160. For a guy who comes off as intellectually superior, you sure have a difficult time with reading comprehension and answering a very simple question.

As I have already pointed out, Ward was calling out GGG for wanting to fight smaller guys such as Canelo and Cotto--who happened to be MW champions at the time. Yet, Ward offers to fight a smaller opponent in both Floyd and GGG at weights that give him the upper hand. That is a chickenshyt move right there. Especially when he knew damn well he wasn't coming down in weight to fight either one of them.
