GGG was MW champion. What did Ward have to offer at a catch weight? If Ward wanted the MW champ then come down to 160. He would for Floyd but not GGG. Don't call out a fighter and then demand a catch weight.

Ward went up in weight to beat up on Kovalev twice.

GGG couldnt even beat Canelo who was coming up himself.

The Ward vs GGG conversation is over.

But Team Golovkin said that they would fight Andre Ward at a catch weight of 164 lbs but at a 168 lbs for Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez doe.

Glad to see you admit GGG accepted his challenge at 164 but Ward still backed out. The question still remains...why did Ward say he would fight Floyd at 160 but not GGG at 160?

Ward always insists on weight advantages. Drained Dawson to 168 and demanded catch weight for journeyman Paul Smith at 172.

He called Ward out. I never heard Ward mention this dude's name in an interview before that call out on HBO after he beat one of those bums at 160. If you call someone out in a higher weight class, why should they come down to meet you?

Wrong buddy. Ward fired the first shot.

Gennady wasn’t too happy to hear Ward saying that he’s making excuses to avoid a fight, and Gennady fires back in epic proportion.
