JCC didn't want it. He went life and death with Rubio, a guy that GGG plugged inside the distance. He also didn't hold any titles at 168 for GGG to compete for, so why vacate real MW titles for second rate Continental Americas belts JCC was holding?

Until you can come up with a reasonable explanation why Ward would come to Floyd at 160 but not GGG, I'm not answering any more of your questions, which are lost attempts at deflecting.

Hell, I'd cut off my own foot if it meant earning the sort of pay day you'd get from fighting Mayweather. I might deliberately sprain my ankle for GGG but even that's pushing it.

All trolling aside, anyone claiming that either fighter was ducking is just being a silly fanboy / hater. There's two reasons why this fight was never made. Money and ego.

For years it was Ward fans claiming GGG was ducking. My thread and opening post poses a legit question to those doubters and haters, one that hasn't been answered sufficiently except to say that there was more money in fighting Floyd. Ok fine, more money, BUT, if you are willing to come down to 160 for Floyd money (which still would find Ward on the short end of that pay day), then you should be willing to come down to 160 for the MW champion of the world. Ward still would have earned his biggest pay day fighting GGG at 160. He just didn't want it.

principles brotha, principles. so just because the same guy that was for it is now against it, doesnt mean you have to change your stance on it. so that means you never really believe that in the first place if you're so quick to switch up.

Exactly when did Ward say anything about fighting the Triple Cheese Burger @ a catch weight?

the short end of the Money for the Floyd fight is still more the he would have made for GGG fight and just like GGG would have made less Money fighting Ward at 168 the he would have made Fighting Floyd at 154

the answer is Money GGG was never going to move up and Ward was never going to move down unless a big money fight came up.

the fight would have been good for us hard core fans but no way would it have made any money on PPV none of them where Ppv stars at that time and that not a non HBO PPV fight

What weight advantage did Ward have in the Kovalev fights?

September of last year Andre "Son of Judges" Ward declared that he offered GGG a 50/50 split on money and the catch weight and that they still turned him down. That claim is still being disputed by both parties.
