You cannot preserve your credibility if you are going to say that GGG has not fought anywhere near the caliber opponent that Ward has. Jacobs, Brook, Canelo are every bit as good or better than Froch, Kessler and Kovalev. Plenty of fighters have ducked GGG, can't recall anyone ducking Ward. With the lone exception of maybe Adonis Stevenson who is a joke.
Ward's claim to fame is the 168 lb. tournament. Again, if GGG had that resume, I know his haters would be tearing apart Abraham, Kessler, Froch, Dawson, insisting they were bums and hype jobs had anyone else defeated them.
But, as we circle to my opening question, which the consensus appears to be about money, that is, Ward would go to 160 to fight Floyd for the money, but not GGG at 160. If that is the excuse we are riding with, then we have the double-standard of the haters once again, because they claim GGG ducked Ward. So hypothetically, what if GGG refused to fight him at 168 because there was no money in it? Would GGG be let off the hook because he would rather fight Froch or Chavez Jr. for big money than Ward...who is not a draw on any night?
