Not triggered, just being realistic. And I'm saying, your prediction is fueled by heavy amounts of crack rock smoke.

Bingo. Ward has proven himself over, and over, and over, and over again. A guy like Stevenson won't beat him. You better be slicker than slick, and be able to fight like a son of a ***** on the inside to beat Ward.

You haven't told me **** on what Ward does that's better than DLH and against who it was.
Bro, I don't even think DelaHoya can throw a pivot. The guy has heart, but he's certainly not the most skilled. Ward has way more to his game that clinching. Just for starters, his upper body game is just crazy. DelaHoya is as stiff as they come. I'm really not being a fanatic here, but Ward is a god in the ring, DelaHoya's heart got him very far, but it wasn't skill. And he wasn't the smartest fighter either.

Ward is one of the best. He shows time and time again that he can rise to another level. He will retire undefeated.

Yup, Andre's a ridiculously smart dude. He'll know when to hang em' up, and I agree, he'll retire unbeaten.

The guy has had a phenomenal career. And that's if he retired tomorrow. But dude ain't even done yet.

To me it's amazing how much **** he takes from fight fans...he's class, the epitome of a professional. A pro's pro. Has never shied away from a challenge. Has shown that he can dig deep as f**k when most guys would've folded.

Okay so his style isn't the prettiest. I get it. But at the end of the day he's a hell of a fighter and without question one of the absolute best of the era.

                  I will help you out.

Ward has better head movement (De La Hoya's defense was primarily blocking/parrying which he was very good at), a better counter-puncher than De la Hoya (close), punches in a more compact fashion than De La Hoya, controls his opponent on the inside MUCH better than De La Hoya, and has a higher ring IQ than De La Hoya. Ward dominated Kessler and Froch by using control/smothering tactics which neutralized any oncoming fire.

What does De La Hoya do better? He blocks/parrys better than Ward (close), has a MUCH better jab than Ward and he puts his punches together MUCH better than Ward.
Plus De La Hoya had lethal power in his left.

Their styles are very different but I would argue that Ward was the better defensive fighter while De La Hoya was the more destructive offensive fighter. Ward has the edge in skills overall but it is close.

Older Oscar is more stiff for sure, prime hmmmm I can see it both ways.

You still haven't told me much Mr. Grand IQ Boxing Genius.

Tell me what Ward does that is so great and against who it was. Please, enlighten me.
