Who cares anymore. There's been more "Boxing is dead, UFC is taking over" chatter than ever since MayPac. In 2016 it was rampant, even on NSB. All its meant is record-breaking numbers for boxing on 2017, whether its crowds (JoshKlit), ESPN, or network ratings (Thurman-Garcia). Boxing has more eyeballs on it in 2017 since the mid-90's while the UFC tanks.Yeah sicko its sad it was a very entertaining scrap that Casuals enjoyed they love that bloody wild brawling stuff, they were getting ******s watching this and praising boxing and ESPN but when the decision went to Horn these clowns started attacking boxing and saying they will never watch boxing again, wtf why they hating on boxing and the fight was free on ESPN why they *****ing.
I hate when people blame boxing as a whole, they just enjoyed a good scrap and forget it because of a decision that they didnt agreed with,
I never seen people do this in UFc when UFC gets decisions that are not popular you dont see millions of people saying UFC is shady or ufc does it again corrupt, but when boxing has a unpopular decision you see idiots saying boxing is dead, UFC will never do this.
Even Stepen A smith said UFC will never do this they dont rob fighters lmao wow
It should be clear by now that the sweet science is pretty immune to the media chatter. The only thing that hurt boxing was the lack of exposure, which is now being rectified via PBC and ESPN.Comment

Exactly, I have been saying this same thing for a while. Haymon has no idea how to build up fighters. If my son were a top boxing prospect turning pro, I would have him sign with Top Rank to build him into a star, once he reached star status, we would then go to Haymon afterwards. With that said, Arum has trouble timing the big fights after you become a star for the right time, we saw it with Gamboa/Lopez some years back, that should have been a big money fight for those two guys but Arum took too long to put it together. It is probably happening now with Pacquiao/Crawford which should have been made already. One you become a star Al Haymon knows how to get you the most money for the easier fights.Good for Arum, ESPN and most important, the fans. How is it that Arum has a knack for building up fighters into stars? Something Haymon has no clue of. Thurman was expected to become a big star. Yet where is he? The Swift has disappeared too. They're not even talking about their next fights.Comment

Well Thurman is out until 2018, but he arguably is a star. How many boxers have had more eyeballs on them in the last two years? Ummm I can't think of one.Exactly, I have been saying this same thing for a while. Haymon has no idea how to build up fighters.
