You are quite known on here. So don't act a fool. I remember you saying Dirrel's uncle punching that boxer was being splashed all over the news and was giving boxing a bad rep which would lead to decline in viewers of boxing.

You need known boxers to pull these numbers. You can't put mid-level boxers on and expect these results.

It shouldn't be surprising that manny brought huge numbers to espn...

espn is a hype machine that can really promote to a casual audience and putting a big name star like manny on espn will draw eyeballs.

I do think they need to cut a lot of the undercard.. maybe an opener fight and then the main event.. casuals don't want to sit around for 2 hours for the main event, especially late night..

Loma and Crawford probably won't do anywhere near those numbers, but they will draw healthy viewership

                Totally agree...

If you put the true big names on espn, on a consistent basis, boxing will become more popular

Not surprising, Pac is still the biggest draw in boxing behind Floyd. People will tune in to watch him fight. It also helped that it was an entertaining fight with a controversial ending. ESPN loved it lol they actually did post fight stuff went on for a while, not just a blurb. But of course boxing can't have a perfect night as the decision overshadowed the fight itself.

Pacman vs Broner would be big numbers lol
