Like I stated earlier, in 1994 Emmanuel Steward trained Oliver McCall in his upset of reigning WBC Heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. After the loss, Lewis fired his trainer Pepe Correa and hired Emmanuel Steward.

Mayweather is not all things boxing and he certainly isn't responsible for everything that people don't like. The Mayweather hate is hilarious.

I've been a Lennox fan since 92 and totally forgot, didn't know or just didn't care who his trainer was before Emanuel Steward.
