Good to hear the real story from JDJ and Duva. I was gonna say, it certainly sounded out of character for JDJ. Well, now we know indeed... Ward Inc. is shook.Comment

Jackson should have accepted and replaced that **** ass trainer Virgil Hunter in Wards corner. The boxing whisperer never gives any advice, just gently offers words of encouragement.Comment

You specifically mentioned a rant that people were not bothered by. I'm just asking you to provide evidence of the rant that people didn't care about.
Shouldn't be that hard, if he's such a serial racist.Comment

Good example. Except the JDJ offer wasn't to replace Virgil Hunter, but to supplement the team. Or more accurately, take him away from Kovalev.I'll say it again.......
In 1994 Emmanuel Steward trained Oliver McCall in his upset of reigning WBC Heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis. After the loss, Lewis fired his trainer Pepe Correa and hired Emmanuel Steward.
Guess who promoted Lewis vs McCall 2? That's right....Duva and Main Event. Kathy is loose with the truth like every other promoter.
Add the fact that they leaked the story 2 weeks out and tried to turn this into a USA vs Russia thing. It smacks of desperation and insecurity.Comment

I wasn't around during those days either but I read. Too bad you're too ****** to do the same thing.I wasnt promoting back in the days of Jack Johnson or Ali, so I cant speak about what games might have went on back then. Like I said, its always nice to glorify the past and assume these sorts of things didnt happen.
I didnt figure you were too ****** to understand what I meant. My bad.
If you don't know about the past you shouldn't comment on it dumbass.Comment

Yeah, and coWARD is on record insinuating that he has been held back in this sport because of his race. That's basically saying that the sport is racist even though he is seemingly ranked #1 or #2 P4P by most "official" boxing authorities.
Not buying it, he's a fraud, a liar, and a hypocrite.Comment

That's the text book example of speculation. This was USA vs Russia in the first promotion. Also it was the Kovalev camp that made it more of issue by claiming the American judges were biased.Good example. Except the JDJ offer wasn't to replace Virgil Hunter, but to supplement the team. Or more accurately, take him away from Kovalev.
Add the fact that they leaked the story 2 weeks out and tried to turn this into a USA vs Russia thing. It smacks of desperation and insecurity.
If Kovalev tuned out JDJ in the first fight, it was he not Team Ward that took JDJ away from him.
The one thing about Ward and Hunter is that they are never insecure or desperate because of their level of success. They know they can compete and beat any opponent. They've proven it at every level of boxing.Comment
