anyone that dislikes him is not a boxing fan /end thread.
The dislike for Chocolatito saddens me

If you can watch that fight and come away with the conclusion that either of those fighters are bums, you really don't know boxing
Gonzalez has beaten three reigning titlists (Niida, Yaegashi and Cuadras), two former titlists (Viloria and Sosa) and four fighters who won titles after he beat them (Estrada, Rodriguez, Takayama and Yaegashi), plus Arroyo who arguably beat Ruenroeng in a title fight, and evidently many people thought he also beat Sor Rungvisai on the weekend, who is a former titlist himself. That's nine good wins and one close loss to a good fighter. Ward only has six. Also, Gonzlaez has moved up 10 lbs since his first title fight, a gain of 9.5%, while Ward has moved up 7 lbs since his first title fight, a gain of ~4%
Nicely done with some intriguing stats. Green k sentComment

Also, Estrada, Rodriguez and Takayama didn't just go on to become titlists but actually became unified titlists after Roman beat them. Viloria also unified a couple of titles at one point. And I'm pretty sure that both Estrada and Viloria have featured on P4P lists at some point tooLast edited by NEETzsche; 03-21-2017, 09:38 AM.Comment

If it was so easy, everyone would be doing itI just find it hilarious that he gets so much praise for conquering 4 weightclasses when in reality its a total of like 6-8 pounds
6 pounds isn't a lot people, i dont care how short you are.
If youre a great fighter youre gonna beat guys who weigh a few pounds heavier than you
Why not? The whole point of p4p is to take out the size factor when comparing how good fighters are.
You're showing a lot of ignorance with this comment.
Nope, he's as skilled as anyone in the top 10 p4p currently, way above average fighters.Comment

I swear I have never heard a more annoying, servile, toady, butt-licking, eager-to-impress voice than the guy in this video. Everytime someone posts a video of his here and I hear his voice I feel nothing but disgust. They never stop to address him either, they're always training or doing something like he's a nuisance.Last edited by iamboxing; 03-21-2017, 10:01 AM.Comment

People on here hate him because he isnt Mexican or from whatever other latinc community makes up some of the posters on here. Outsideo f the confines of this forum, RG is quite popular, everyone enjoy his style, most believe he beat the Thai guy and did so very well but hey, it is what it is.
Over the last 3 or 4 fights, I've really come to appreciate RG, he is a terrific, all round fighter with good power and a solid heart. I never believed he was deserving of the p4p no.1 status but he is definitely top 5.Comment
