Floyd is a coward and a cheat!

He forced Canelo to accept a catch-weight fight to make him weaker and fought him when he was still green and had fought nobody.

He forced Marquez to climb 2 full weight divisions to fight him and still came in over the limit to give himself an unfair advantage.

He ducked Mosley in his prime and only fought him when he was old and had 5 losses on his resume.

Same goes for Cotto, he avoided him in his prime and only fought him when he got stopped by both Margarito and Pacquiao.

Same goes for Pacquiao...he avoided him like the plague in his prime when he was knocking out champions left, right and center and only fought him when he was old, lost his punching power and had been brutally KO'd by Marquez!

Floyd also lost to Castillo and has been knocked down several times in his career but these haven't been counted because Al Haymon pays off the referees/judges!

We also can't forget how coward Floyd sucker punched Ortiz when he was apologizing to knock him out lol.

1. Floyd would never have given an immediate rematch to a guy if he'd been in GG's current position, where he had the opportunity to obtain the only remaining belt in the division.

2. Billy Joe Saunders is not a bum.


There's no reason why he can't look to fight Jacobs again after he's fought for the WBO.

Floyd didn't really care about belts. But I'm glad you brought him up. Floyd took a lot of flack for his opponent selection, particularly as a welterweight. But if you look at his welterweight and jr middleweight resume. Pretty much everyone he fought was either a reigning beltholdrr or mandatory. And he had several unification fights. So if GGG's belt quest is such a great thing. Why was Floyd criticized for basically doing the same thing?

Golovkin's fighting Saunders in just 10 weeks! That's a fast as **** turnaround that doesn't exist with elite fighters today.

I don't care if you don't respect GGG getting all the titles or not, but with that fast of a turn around I don't want to hear about Golovkin dodging a rematch. The swelling in Jacobs' face won't even be completely cleared up in 10 weeks. Take a poll when you think Jacobs will even fight again. My guess is in another 6 months! what now I've heard everything. Got GGG fans openly praying the PPV figures come back weak to justify ducking a rematch with Jacobs saying fans don't want to see a rematch if the PPV comes back low. NO if the PPVs come back weak it just means GGG isn't a PPV star and this fight shouldn't of been on PPV but has no impact on whether a rematch is warranted. Since the decision the backlash and public outcry for a rematch is why he needs to give Jacobs a rematch. But don't act like poor PPVs would be because of Jacobs it would just be the second PPV flop for GGG and say more about his lack of popularity then anything to do with Jacobs. Plus it's not like Saunders is a bigger draw or money fight. K2 has already said this fight would not be on PPV and virtually nobody in the states has seen Saunders fight. If you passing up a Jacobs rematch for a Canelo or bigger star that draws more PPV's ok. But Saunders is a step down from Jacobs in competition and box office. It's duck move and if the PPV bombed that's just par for the course with GGG and means his fights shouldn't be on PPV in the first place.

I for one would love to see a rematch & Jacobs deserves it & the fight fans deserve it..
That said, Let us consider some of the facts:
1. Golovkin is fighting in Kazakhstan in June
2. Jacobs fights twice a year except 2015 & only once in 2016

If Jacobs is available to fight Golovkin in June then make it happen, else build up the rematch & let it happen end of 2017 or 2018..
Saying unifying a division is pointless sounds silly when that was always the priority..
