It was a close fight with a lot of close rounds. Shade a few of them in the opposite direction and you have yourself a different, albeit just as fair, result...

It was a robbery Mr Lyle Fitzsimmons

I think it's a solid chance neither fight happens this year. If they don't, a Jacobs rematch is pretty much a must this year, right?
Chuckle, chuckle... A guy bashing hypotheticals, then throws his. Why are you assuming Jacobs would want a rematch? Have you asked him? Judging from the first fight, the rematch negotiations would probably take 2 years.

The g-tards didn't cry when Lil G drug up WWs to fight at 160? So please don't cry about weight since lil g can't meet Ward at 168 (after calling him out) and can't meet Canelo at 154 (after calling him out). At a certain point lil g will actually have to fight a GOOD fighter and win. He lost to Jacobs on my card but Jacobs is B level.

Maybe lil g will sign a contract eventually and after he loses you pacFUC.KS will say he was old. It honestly cracks me up lol

Well, Jacobs has already said he wants a rematch. But I'm not talking about negotiations or any of that other bull****. All I'm asking is if Saunders and Canelo aren't made, is a Jacobs rematch a must for this year?

uhmmm, nope. Jacobs refused to weigh in for HBO. Thats why the graphic during the show had a question mark for Jacobs weight.

Now Jacobs nutritionist DID tweet that Jacobs was 176 at 8am the morning of the fight. But im sure over the next 15 hours Jacobs didnt gain an ounce.

And now that I think about it, its possible that Jacobs actually LOST 8 or 9 pounds during the day and was lighter than GGG during the fight. lol

What has Charlo done that is better than Jacobs for a GGG to need a victory over him to be considered great.

Well, based on the current situation in boxing, Jacobs would most likely think of coming back to the ring after about 8-12 months. Of course he would say he would like a rematch when asked. What is he supposed to say?

You want to make a bet that Jacobs won't be pressing for a rematch any time soon?

Well Martinez at his best would have given them both problems. He had sneaky power and good speed. But I think his defensive lapses would have caused him to lose to both.

GGG wants to unify and also wants to fight Canelo. Both are legit plans. If neither fight gets scheduled, then bring on Jacobs.

                    Clickbait title.

Still didn't answer question. If Saunders and Canelo don't happened this year. And to make you feel better. If Danny wants it. Is a rematch a must this year?
