I just realised that you did not state that the WBA No1 contender can make title defenses..... you in fact stated that the WBA No2 contender can make title defenses..... because at first Golovkn was not the super OR regular champ, he was the interim champ..... so, No2 contender

They asked for an immediate bid because Jacobs wouldn't budge from his 40% demand. It brought him and his team into line and they accepted whatever % it was that Loeffler was offering them, because if they hadn't done so, it would have been 25% or walk.

Danny wouldn't fight GGG for 25%. If GGG hadn't given him more, Jacobs would have walked and the fight wouldn't be happening.

If Loeffler had wanted to get rid of Jacobs, he didn't need an immediate bid to do it. All he needed to do was refuse to offer him more than 25%, wait 15 days .. . bye bye Danny.

Well at least he sounds very confident and that is always a good sign for me. It tells me that he is coming in prepared in order to win the fight and not just collect a paycheck.
