Golovkin's "Best" years have been over the past few years. and If he can secure fights with Saunders and Canelo maybe Charlo's this year you get argue his best years is right now in the present.

People get fighters from that region of the world mistaken. They are known to have longevity well into their 30's. Sure he's not 25 anymore but in many ways you can say GGG of today is a lot better than he was when he was 25 years old.

Sounds kind of like Jacobs is admitting to waiting until GGG got old and looked vulnerable before fighting him. He initially planned to wait longer, but after seeing GGG age rapidly in the last few fights in Danny's eyes, Danny admits he didn't want someone else to get the credit of beating GGG first, so he jumped on the chance now.

I mean, that's kind of what it sounds like. Which is what GGG fans said all along, that these guys were ducking GGG all these years but would finally start to fight him when he was on the wrong side of 34, 35. And that's where we are.
