I'd already put Trump among the 5 best US presidents (Teddy Roosevelt at #1) and he's only a short length into his term. Floyd was never THAT good. Trump has restored an entire generation's faith in democracy.

Tarver, Pavlik, Pascal, Dawson, Shumenov, Kovalev, fighting a young Roy Jones who went on and destroyed a lot of very talented fighters.

Sure Hopkins didnt win all those fights, but I believe he was a heavy underdog in nearly all of them. Especially given how old he was in many of those fights. To me that's far more impressive than what Mayweather did

It's possible if it's a ranking based on just skill alone. But for a full ranking a big part of it is resume as well. He can never be ahead of guys like Ali, Robinson, Leonard, Louis, Foreman, etc. due to that.

Non of us posting here watched Robinson's career we can't taste him highly based on someone elses opinion. Louis has a terrible resume foreman had a great resume but didn't accomplish more than Floyd we can go back and forth

who did greb, armstong, charles and langford beat who were so great? These old timer american can get made to look so amazing because it wasnt an international sport back then. SO if you were number 1 on the domestic scene you were automatically best in the world. That era was weaker, not stronger. Plus, you don't have the trainers like Eddie Futch, Angelo Dundee, Ray Arcel, etc. . .to mold guys. Boxing skill has eroded tremendously, just ask any old school experts.
