Wrong. Why keep telling that LIE?

Duva did NOT request a purse bid. She did request the mando designation, but she thought she would be able to actually negotiate with GYM / Haymon.

Oops, bad idea. GYM refused to negotiate and requested an immediate purse bid, so Duva got clowned and withdrew. But she did NOT request the purse bid.

Education is free, and it only hurts just a little......

It's a clear duck if he walks away from that offer. IMO.
Oh look, another repetitive GGG-hate thread. How original.

The better question is has there ever been THIS many ******s who swear that an offer MUST be accepted or its a duck, despite the fact that they dont have the SLIGHTEST IDEA of what potential deal-breaking terms might be in it?

It's a terrible thread, Isaac Clarke is actually a very intelligent poster in my opinion but his thoughts/opinion on anything GGG should be null and void, this argument is just fanboy propaganda. It's to antagonise Golovkin fans.

Real talk there is more of a case for this fight to be 50-50 than Golovkin getting a flat fee, he has all the belts, he is almost universally regarded as the better fighter, is a consensus top 5 p4p rated fighter and Canelo will also be making by far his highest purse, Canelo has not yet cleared the $15 million mark in a single fight as of yet if I'm not mistaken. Canelo actually has so much to gain from beating him, he stamps his name in the hall of fame and instantly becomes a mexican legend overnight. His legacy and resume becomes so much stronger, the problem is GBP and maybe even Canelo don't think they can win. Other than Trout, the bulk of Canelo's resume is filled with over the hill and/or undersized opponents. You could argue he doesn't need GGG financially but he definitely needs him for his legacy.

Floyd ducked Pacquiao when he must have earned at most one-fifth of the revenue that fight generated for him.

I have no idea what the licencing fee for Kovalev/Stevenson would have been. If you think you do, then please tell me about it. As far as I know, HBO licencing fees are never made public.

The actual offer Duva made to Yvon Michel was for a 50/50 split of the income from the fight. The total estimated income was between $12million and $14million.

Yes, and they are all ex Manny/GGG fans. You've been here a long time so its disingenuous when posters act like GGG's treatment is new or obscene.

In every one of these threads the same ******ed, inbred, idiotic, racist and bigoted theories, arguments and logic employed by fans against Floyd, Roy and others is now being used against GGG. if you didn't do anything to stop it then, it rings hollow when posters no suddenly get offended or ask for it to stop.

Serious question: give me one good reason why the posters going at GGG should treat him any differently hen his worst fans treated others?

You mean you never heard about the negotiations that went on between Duva and Yvon Michel, Stevenson's promoter?

This was towards the end of 2015, begining of 2016, if I remember correctly. They reached a deal for a 50/50 split of the total income from the fight, with the first $2million going to Stevenson.

Michel said it was a fair deal but it ended up being rejected by Stevenson/Haymon because Kovalev's HBO contract wouldn't allow a joint PPV screening on both HBO and Show Time.

Yeah the fight won't happen until at least September. The whole argument is for crybaby b"tches.

Whatever words you use to describe it, I think its hard to blame people for throwing it back into the faces of those that brought it to NSB.
