How many fighters have turned down 5x their highest payday for a fight?

Golovkins highest payday to date is £2.6 mil he got for Brook (he got the same as Brook), Canelo has offered $15 mil. Has any fighter in history turned down such a huge bump in pay for a fight? People bring up Mayweathers $40 mil offer to Pacquiao but Pacquiao was already making $20-$30 mil for fights.

It's a clear duck if he walks away from that offer. IMO.

It's the truth. Who has ever turned down such a massive bump in pay? Can you name someone.

      You can't.

''154-168 easy for me...'' - Golovkin

        159lb for Brook
        159 for Wade
        159.4 for Lemieux
        159 for Monroe Jr.
        158.9 for Murray
        159 for Rubio
        159 for Geale
        159 for Adama
        159 for Stevens
        160 for Rosado

Bernard agreed to a 158 catch for Oscar

Golovkin said BRook was too small... Gennady says he himself is a small middleweight ''look at me..'' says ''Cotto too small'' ''Alvarez is too big..'' yet Hagler hella smaller than little gee... smh

K2 doesn'T want to disclose the catchweight negotiations which is why Abel chose to ride the ''Alvarez hasn'T made 154 in YEARS, only 154 for Floyd...''

What if Dontae asks Abel, ''Abel, you said Alvarez could not make 154 in 2015 but Alvarez came in for Smith in 2016...''

''Yeah yeah but things right now are different.''' - Abel (most probably quote)

Never seen anyone accept a flat fee in the biggest fight in boxing. Golovkin deserves a split of the pot, we don't know how much this fight will make. It doesn't make sense for Golovkin to accept a flat fee. I don't blame him for turning that down. Pac turned down Floyds flat fee of 40 million despite never making close to that and went on to make about 4 times that when the fight happened. When Lewis and Tyson fought, it was obvious Tyson was the draw but Lewis was the champion and guess what? They split the fight 50-50. A flat fee is bull**** plain and simple. It's just another roadblock after they started off with demanding the fight at 155.

The fight will happen when Canelo and Oscar feel he can win and that's when they will offer Golovkin a fair percentage.

I don't know, how much has JMM rejected or said he would be willing to reject for Pacquiao?

That's bait. First Arum would have to offer that publicly or to his camp, the same 100 million which Arum said Floyd turned down... Has Arum rejected this late publicity stunt by Marquez?
