Canelo worst PPV opponent Liam Smith still outsold Lil G unification fight with a stacked undercard with King Kong Ortiz n Chocolatito on the bill. Canelo continues to overvalue himself. Dude can't come close to breaking half a mil in ppv sales as the A side and he's under the impression that he's mayweather or pac in terms of popularity. This guy has 1 gullible demographic of fans and even real Mexican boxing fans can't stand him. Hope he tries to skip Chavez and go for Saunders so his ppv sales can drop even more than they did in his last fight.

Here's a problem that if I'm Golden Boy Promotions and Canelo that I have with Chavez Jr and why Canelo should get paid way way more than Chavez Jr.

First Chavez Jr. Last fight wasn't even shown in the United States.

Second Canelo has constantly sold out more venues.

Third Canelo has done nothing but pay per views over the last 5 years outside of Kirkland while Chavez Jr has done only one pay per view with Martinez.

Last Chavez Jr has done nothing but broken contracted weights and people think just because he made weight once that he will do this constantly? No way in hell would I trust him to be a professional and make weight.

The fact Golden Boy is offering 6 million plus ppv upside is way more than generous.

hmmm, so you defend the guy who gave away a belt, moved down in weight for a lesser challenge and earned less money just to avoid a fight with ggg. You need to face the fact that Candelita's legacy will ALWAYS be: lost to Mayweather, ducked GGG, and was ODLH's street girl. He could beat 100 more overmatched or smaller boxers but it won't make one bit of difference.

Canelo is 26 yrs old lol. His "legacy" has just begun. Ggg is 35! His legacy is he faced his first b level or higher opponent at age 35....
