Kovalev really needs to stop talking **** now. He's entitled to believe that he should have won the fight, but he didn't. No matter who anyone thinks won, Ward actually won. He's not going to achieve anything by whining about it in the media every day other than embarrassing himself.

The boxing media keep asking him the same damn questions and BScene keeps posting the same damn articles. He doesn't think he lost (and neither do I), so he's going to keep saying the same damn thing.

However, I think those body shots had more to do with him fading later in the fight than over-training. We'll see in the rematch though. Ward has been saying that Kov's fitness wasn't on his level from the get go. Kov lacking the juice later in the fight wasn't that much of a shocker. I think this is more fight hype and trash talk. I usually don't care for that, but I think both Kov and Ward do it in a good, subtle way that get under the skin just enough to draw me in. LOL. Also, they both have earned the right to talk trash. Most of the boxers nowadays have had limited success in the ring and run off at the mouth like they're chasing GOAT status. I can dig what both camps are doing. I'm buying the rematch.
This is the only reasonable post I have read so far. Good on you man

          Keeps jabbing Ward, like it.

He makes some pretty nuanced remarks too. Like for example overdoing certain things in camp/training. Ward is clearly not a better boxer than Sergey and he could have outboxed him (which he also did, only he was robbed of the W) just like he did Hopkins.

Ward is not the mayweather some delusional people thought he was and he looked ordinary with Kovalev. His best wins were Froch and Kessler and he was an extraordinary fighter back then, no doubt.

can't keep thinking had that punch (in your sig) landed absolutely clean/ not with his wrist bending up like that, Ward would never have recovered.

It wasn't a robbery. It was a close fight that could've gone either way and Ward won the fight. It's much better to win a close fight then to lose so he's wrong.

And, Andre clawed his way back to victory. It's childish to attack him for the decisions of the judges. Andre fought like a champ. Can't expect anything more.
getting a gift is clawing back his way back to victory? he didn't do much, it was all the judges.... if that's fighting like a champ, you have low expectations

What if the counter right that Ward was throwing had been a little quicker and landed flush as well? There wouldn't have been a knock down. What if......smh
