You say not one word of criricism about all that bull****, but criticise GGG constantly, whatever he does. You are a pitiful excuse for a genuine boxing fan, as are 75% of the arseholes who post in GGG threads..
I haven't criticized Canelo? Clearly you're not paying attention.

I've had no problem criticizing the catchweight bs, nor will I. I don't have any criticism towards dropping that belt though, that mandated a split that was simply unrealistic and isn't going to happen.

A contract was sent (similar to the Ward-Kovalev deal), the fight was on the table. They wanted more money, despite it being by FAR a career high and a fight that could launch him to superstar status.

    Ward, but 'at 164'.

The mandated split for Canelo/GGG would have been 70/30, but Loeffler wasn't even trying to take it to a purse bid. Neither Canelo nor Oscar have ever said that he was.

They have been negotiating the fight since 2 weeks ago, Canelo wants 162-164, Chavez wants 165 as minium.

Golovkin/Chavez would be less competitive than Golovkin/Brook. I don't want it.

really..you know how bad canelo would look moving to 165 for chavez.. his reputation has suffered enough with ducking and vacating

              55/45 actually.

The bid amount would be split between the fighters, a 55-45 split in the case of a WBC title fight between a titleholder and interim titlist
He vacated just before it went to bid under those terms, it was never going to happen.

Golovkin-Chavez was good two years ago, not now.

JCC Jr could actually be a problem for Canelo at 164.

If he didn't balloon up after his last fight; then spent a couple of months taking the weight down from 168 to 164 so that he hits the weight correctly; meets the 164 weight with at least a month before the fight, then the last 4 weeks really focusing on conditioning, he could surprise a few people.

Trouble is JCC isn't going to do any of those things......

Golovkin will be fighting Jacobs this March but if he does fight Chaves Jr it will be around August or September, so is Golovkin trying to duck Canelo??
