JCC hasnt been relevant since he lost to martinez years ago...low risk, high reward...just like K2 likes his opponents.

GGG is the new Floyd Mayweather!

if he was the new floyd mayweather he'd have won and fought for all his titles IN THE RING......

Mayweather fought current/former world champions in a row in his last 15 fights....GGG has fought 4 in just 35 fights...thats pathetic

Floyd won his first title in his 18th fight, when did GGG win the WBA super title? oh yea he never fought for it, he was elevated

Naw.....GGG is the first GGG....a talented fighter whose hype surpasses what he has actually accomplished and who he has fought

Do you think this would be a good "testing the waters" fight at this weight? Or if he moved up should he go for Jack or Degale right away?

chill ppl.. its just a money grab and a chance to score a KO on PPV..im sure sanchez knows beating jcc does absolutely nothing to build ggg's legacy..but it does boost his popularity destroying a "name" opponent..i mean we already saw ggg destroy him in sparring, remove headgear and chavez would've been sleeping that day.

But all those champions who ducked GGG because of his devastating KO power doe! Nobody ducked Floyd cus he couldn't crack eggs.

Even UFC fighters want to fight Floyd in boxing matches cus they know he can't hurt them. They won't call out GGG doe. Conner won't even mention Golovkin's name.

Its understandable Abel would say this because its an easy win for his biggest career payday to date. What is troubling is that gGG gets rewarded for continually fighting opponents of this caliber.

DOes he really need to pad his "resume" with another easy win?

if you're being ducked, move up like floyd did...he was calling out freitas and casmayor years before he moved to 135....Hamed too.

shortcuts and sympathy arent paths to greatness...fighting great opposition and performing well is...sorry bro....excuses wont make him a legend or hall of famer

no one was calling out mayweather from 1996-2007....when he became a household name thats when fighters started chasing that $$$ and his undefeated record

mike mccallum was ducked at 154...he moved up and won titles at 160 and 175(was mandatory to hearns and duran at one point)

Aaron Pryor couldnt get a shot at 135 so he moved to 140

the list goes on...its been 3 years...the excuses are tired, dead and beating a dead horse

This just isn't true. Having KO power isn't always the reason people avoid fights. Manny, ODH, Shane, Kosta and Cotto all turned down Floyd when he called them out or made an offer. None did so because they were worried about being KTFO.

Its because they did not want to risk losing and having a big payday go away. We have seen this reasoning other times as well. Manny not fighting Zahir Raheem Or GGG being willing to go to 168 for Chavez but not Ward. Niether Manny or GGG were worried about losing by KO, just losing.

GGG is trying to do something Floyd never did ... win all the belts in one weight division. That's a much more difficult task than hopping from one division to another cherry picking easy title fights.
