Both these guys will make adjustments in the rematch , this was a chess match you think they werent trying their best lol , the rematch will be about the adjustments made by both and can make a very different fight ,,, I dont think a lot of guys comprehend what a tactical fight that was , both of them boxed great and too an extent nullify each others strengths .

Im up for the rematch get it on .

Ward was outboxed on the outside.. That is a fact. He had too make it ugly and smother Kovalev who was the boss most of the fight. 7 rounds to 5 + knockdown. 115-112 Kovalev... that's the real story.

good point. not sure if he can improve on his training regime, but he was a little underdone for that fight. by the time the rematch rolls around, Ward will have 12 TOUGH rounds and an extra camp with Mackie Shilstone under his belt, plus he is now very familiar with Kovalev.

I think he will be stronger, but more importantly sharper, and now he has a proven detailed blueprint for Kovalev.

Talk is cheap, but if he thinks he won this fight decisively and could easily win again he's in for a rude awakening.

Best case scenario he won a very close fight by the skin of his teeth and worse case he was given a gift decision and a false sense of security.

he looked a little underdone to me, Ward will likely pick up right where he left off..... what will Kovalev do differently?

            this will be like Pacquiao/Marquez

the more often Ward has a close look at Kovalev, the worse it will get for Kovalev

Ward is right, Kovalev can't do anything about the judges. The fun part is, Ward can go back to fighting bums for a while but eventually he will have to fight Kov again or Adonis...either of which will split his nuts off the back of his neck.

Ward and Hunter have been bragging overtime since Ward's win.

Ward will likely go to the body a lot earlier than he did in this fight, Kovalev needs to learn to fight inside

And loved the biased authors "Ward clinched and wrestled all night"

Think Kov should go to the body more himself. He can clearly hurt Ward but Ward can't hurt him.And he needs some decent judges.
