As for Lucas being a nobody? What was Pascal when Froch fought him for a vacant title?

Taylor had lost 2 of his last 3 fights going in to the Froch fight his win was over a washed up hype job Lacy. Does Taylor even have a single win at 168?

      His chin wasn't that good.
And broke under pressure, considering he lost to David Diaz to make the olympic team.

Same curse as Amir Khan - his blazing hand speed allowed him to get away with so much early on in his career, he never learned how to properly transition from offense to defense, and vice versa.

So what you saw was either him attacking full-on, or just in a defensive shell... He did have better upper body and head movement than khan, but still, he could never transition properly, and learn how to pace himself, and pick his shots for a full fight.

what went wrong with zab judah? where to begin?

one of the big things that zab should've done was get a better trainer, and although his dad did get him to the title, he wasn't able to keep him there.

why? because there is only so far a guy with his experience can take you, zab needed a better more experienced trainer.

another reason zab fell off was because he didn't have the best stamina after four rounds, he was kind of like mike tyson in that regard, better conditioning and preparing to go the distance would've behooved him dearly.

lack of defense was also a culprit in zab not reaching his full potential, relying on his natural abilities too much, left gaps in his defense and boxing foundation.

I will say this though, zab had some serious hand speed and some nice power, his handspeed was impressive in the fact that he kept it for the most if not all the fight, even when he was tired, he could still get his shots off first and hit clean, he just couldn't really keep it together.

Zab also, I believe, had the best physical build for a 140 and 147 pounder.

all in all, not using other options, stubbornness, lack of foundational needs in boxing, led to zab marginalizing his abilities.

The guy had potential and to be fair had a good career in the end.

I definitely wouldn't call his career a "big waste", he underachieved for his potential but still achieved more than most who lace them up.

As far sa Atlas goes, I think Atlas gets the best of out his fighters more often than not. I'd love to see many fighters under Atlas.

Short and sweet, right on the money.
Nice excuses for Toney there but his loss's were absolutely due to a lack of skill and ability especially when it comes to the likes of Roy Jones, Montel Griffin and Reggie Johnson etc

Barely beat a shot to **** Kessler. Is it his wins over Abraham or glass Jawed Groves or the Killer Bute whom loses to every good fighter he has faced?

Or do you count Pascal and taylor as some sort of atg wins?

I guess the super 6 hype means his resume is atg.

Even after the super 6 the paper champ was at best the 3rd best considering he was out manned against Kessler and Lost every round to Ward.

Though a case could be made he was the 5th best at 168 considering he got a disgraceful gift against Dirrell unless you consider rabbit punches and hittinh well after the ref has called break as scoring shots. Also Bute was hyped as some sort of killer despite Bika being his best win.
Judah beat Cory Spinks to be "the man" at welterweight. Being the champ of a division doesn't matter as much as who you beat. If you're really going to pump up Cory Spinks and denigrate Mikkel Kessler and Jean Pascal, then you're way too biased. You're trying really hard to downplay wins that Judah can't match.

Froch's career is unquestionably better than Judah's.
