I'm not making up Pascal being a monster when Froch fought him like you did with Matthysse. It was a great fight between two fighters who turned out to be really good. Lucas turned out to be a good fighter, but at the time he was just some Argentinian bum a "rejuvenated" Judah was supposed to knock out. Instead he lost in the majority of fans' eyes.

You're focusing on Taylor as if I think highly of that win, when I don't think I even mentioned him. But if you want to keep bringing him up, I'll mention that Froch was an underdog in that fight. Same with Bute.

Froch's career is unquestionably better than Judah's.
No it is not Kessler was faded and was coming off a bad loss and still beat froch. The version Froch barely beat was even further away from his prime. Pascal has beaten nobody at 168 and has only beaten the pension beater Dawson in a fight he was looking like he was going to get stopped in until a cut saved him and Bute. Pascal even got a gift against a bum Gonzalaz whom he was supposed to knock out. Instead he lost in the majority of fans' eyes.

Just because 168 is the weakest division in the history of boxing where Arthur abraham is top 10 atg doesn't make Froch's career better than it was.

why don't you enlighten me about which divisions are historically weaker than 168.

What is your top 10 at 168? Jones and Toney barely fought there.

How high is "ATG" Sven Otke on that list lol

agreed, the usual reason is that they werent quite good enough, its not usually a case of a fighter 'taking the wrong turn' or 'going off the rails'. Not every quick, flashy fighter is going to have floyd mayweather levels of success. Judah still had a damn solid career saying that

He had a very good career. A bit temperamental but I wouldn't, now, go so far as calling him weak willed. It takes a lot of discipline and commitment to reach the level he reached.

I think his mistake was fighting at WW. The opponents were too physically imposing for him.

All skill, no will. he was a front runner. Soon as fatigue or a bit of adversity set in - he'd look noticeably worse or even lose. Thats a mental issue. At some point during fights, you have to be able to will yourself.

Only time I've ever seen him bite down and actually try to win when things werent in his favor was against Garcia.

I know Zab gets a lot of **** be was a really great fighter. I don't know if his conditioning or what ever people want to say. He fought and gave what he had at that time, and that good enough for me.
