Ward may be favourite with the bookies, but I'm sure he knows that beating the Krusher will be one hell of a tough job. He's fighting a guy who is not that heard of or known this is why Ward will always be asked about the most known and feared fighter about even if Ward for some miraculous reason wins against Kovalev the public won't give him much props for it because he's meant to win he's the favourite this is his natural weight limit there is absolutely no adversity to be dealt with like there never ever has been in Wards career.
Andre is full of shit and he always has been, but lets keep it real and give him respect for taking this fight on.Comment

The realest shi t in this fcking threadBig fan of GGG here, but you don't duck a bulldog to face pitbull...all respect to Ward for not hanging around doing nothing in a division he cleaned up already, and instead going to face literally a killer, at a heavier weight. Full props to GGG to for trying to go undisputed, but I've no doubt they just didn't want WardComment

GGG would never fight Ward. He has his shot and Ward is right - GGG would need to go up in weight. GGG and his whole crew all they do is talk 160. there is nothing going on at 160 except Canelo/Jacobs. There are 5 guys 168 guys he can walk right through..why not clean that out too? then challenge yourself to 172.Comment

he was willing not to choose unification to fight ward and ward said he wasn't ready. why you bringing up wards offer years later? a little lost? The problem with this is you are either forgetting or ignoring the fact he discussed fights with Froch and Chavez jr. at 168.
When the choice was Froch or Chavez jr., it's clear that GGG and his team were willing not to choose unification or were willing to go up to fight either of these 2 and then go back to 160 to complete unification.Comment

Everyone can't be Mayweather, and go up to 154 twice, 152 once, and then come back down and dominate 147! It would've been nice to see GGG make an attempt.Comment
