You mean like Golovkin is giving concessions to Jacobs on the purse?Ward never wants to give any concessions, I don't blame him though since he's never in the position to actually have to.
He was willing to make a fight with GGG at 168 & now says only at 175. Yet some still will use this as Gennady not willing to make the fight? GGG offered at a catch weight of 164 & everyone knows that if that fight is ever to happen it will now have to be at 168 or higher CW. 175 will never be realistic for GGG. Ward knows this & is simply trying to use his size as an advantage. I don't blame him, but it's still the same as critics made of GGG vs Brook & actually worse, more like Canelo vs Khan. Ward will have to give up something to make this fight, plain & simple...just as Golovkin would. Don't really see either side at fault here, but the scales definitely have always tipped towards Ward not being the one to give in a little.
This fight will always be talked about because it's a potential great match-up, something that may still happen a couple of years down the road. If Golovkin's star continues to climb & he eventually moves up to 168 the pressure & questions will only continue to be asked...until Ward gives in.Comment

The time frame matters here, and you are ignoring it. GGG wasn't trying to make fights with Froch or Chavez Jnr in the summer of this year, which was when Ward wanted him to move up to 168.The problem with this is you are either forgetting or ignoring the fact he discussed fights with Froch and Chavez jr. at 168.
When the choice was Froch or Chavez jr., it's clear that GGG and his team were willing not to choose unification or were willing to go up to fight either of these 2 and then go back to 160 to complete unification.
Loeffler made a statement in reply to a hypothetical question about fighting Froch, saying they wouldn't ask him for a catchweight "out of respect for his huge fan base in the UK" ($$$$) But that was as far as it went.Comment

U
K2 said they'd consider it in 2017
In that year and a half they've had Gennady fight
Lemiuex
Monroe
Wade
Brook
Why get Gennady fights to establish himself as the best in the sport when you can run through this list of killers
F.uck K2 sucks from a fan perspectiveComment

He's fighting a guy who is not that heard of or known this is why Ward will always be asked about the most known and feared fighter about even if Ward for some miraculous reason wins against Kovalev the public won't give him much props for it because he's meant to win he's the favourite this is his natural weight limit there is absolutely no adversity to be dealt with like there never ever has been in Wards career.
Absolutely without question
The most ******ED shi t posted in this thread and possibly EVER
Unbelievable you dumb fck.Comment

#realtalkWard is continuously asked about the possibility of fighting WBA/IBO/WBC/IBF middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs).
Dang, he's fighting the baddest man at 175 and they still asking him about a guy who only wanted to fight Froch & Chavez Jr at 168. But these same media members never ask GGG about fighting Ward smh.
