Find a quote I made saying that Lucas was a hype job or stfu.

BJS, Canelo, Golovkin rematch, Eubank Jr, Lee, etc, for much more money.

Oh wait, Jacobs said Golovkin was the best of his generation. I'm confused.
If you think about it, it's clear that K2 must have offered Jacobs more than 25%. Loeffler asked the WBA to call a purse bid because - he said - the negotiations had failed.

If they were only offering Danny the same amount he would get without negotiating, then what would be the point of even trying to negotiate with him in the first place?

No fighter accepts a fixed purse for a big PPV bout. GGG vs Canelo could sell 1 million ppvs.

Of course, I also believe he was offered 30 or 35%.

You completely cut out everything else I said. Jacobs vs Lemieux is the bigger fight. Did I say Jacobs was better than Lemieux? No. Do I think he is? Yes.

However that had nothing to do with my post.

This fight is bigger than the Lemieux fight. That is an irrefutable fact. However you conveniently deleted the rest of my 3 paragraph response from the quote because you would look ******ed saying what you did if you had not omitted it.

But you didn't tell me how you feel about Jacobs passing on that, and whether he's worth more
Jacobs is worth 30%-35%. If 3 million wasn't 30%-35% then he rightfully passed it up.

The sanctioning body said purse bid will be 75/25 . 25% is all jacobs should get .

Why does Jacobs deserve more than any other WBA mandatory challenger gets from a purse bid?

His regular title is irrelevant in this fight, as GGG's super title is the only WBA belt being contested. He doesn't have a big fan base and is virtually unkown outside of Brooklyn. And he couldn't even fill an arena there against Quillin, another Brooklyn home town fighter.

Another thing to consider ... Loeffler called for a purse bid because - he said - the negotiations were going nowhere. It seems clear to me that he must have offered Danny more than 25%, his mandated split. Otherwise, what would have been the point of even trying to negotiate in the first place?

It doesn't take Einstein to see that they saw the potential fees that they could collect off a Golovkin/Canelo fight vs a Canelo/Rubio. They are motivated by money like all of the other alphabet organizations. It's funny because they once took Martinez's belt two years and gave it to Chavez jr. Now they're catering to Golovkin.
