    That's what he gains.

PD i want to see the fight, but to be honest I gotta be behind Danny on this one, if the risk is gonna be huge, you gotta pay me VERY WELL.

    just common-sense

the golovtards will disagree with you, as they are shamefully incapable of looking at this situation fairly

they are under some illusion that fighters must immediately proceed to do whatever will benefit Golovkin the most LMAO

they split the pot fairly with Brook, because they actually wanted that fight

Jacobs should tell Hypekin to go fk himself

You're a joke. How many times you've been served up this quote, a dozen?

‘Wait a second. I could fight two Peter Quillins and make the same thing.’

You're so biased and uh, misinformed... lol. Brook brought an entire country of support with him. Jacobs brings as many FREE viewers on Showtime as Canelo brings PPV buys. GGG averages over 1 mil viewers on premium cable. Jacobs did like 300k vs Quillin.

So GGG is worth about four times the purse, based on ratings, as Jacobs. If Jacobs wants 3 mil for the fight, then the total purse would have to be 15 mil, so GGG could get 12. But is the purse for this fight 15 mil? Absolutely not. GGG is going to give Jacobs 3 mil and take a PAYCUT himself in terms of deserved percentages. GGG will probably only make slightly more than Jacobs, even though he deserves way more.

That just shows GGG is bending over backwards trying to accommodate Jacobs to make this fight, but Jacobs is so scared of him, no matter what GGG offers, he keeps turning it down. That's why he said even if he got offered twice his career high payday to fight GGG, he might not take it because he could just fight "two Quillin's" instead. He literally sees GGG as riskier to fight once than fighting the power punching Quillin TWICE.

He said that! Lol. Did you completely forget him saying that? You have amnesia or you're just dumb? He is the one who said GGG was too good to fight unless he got an insane payday, but you keep blaming GGG. Either you're extremely biased, you haven't been paying attention, or you're a complete idiot. I'm not sure which but it has to be one of those three, that's the only explanation.

And this isn't similiar to the Kovalev purse bid stuff because Golovkin has more money behind him than Kov has with Main Events and this type of scenario is most likely addressed in Golovkin's contract with HBO and k2. K2 knew this type of thing could happen. My guess is that if k2 were to lose a purse bid, Golovkin would be free to fight on a different network...but that is only a guess and i dont think k2 would lose a purse bid anyway, unless a big money russian sneaks in.
I fully expect to K2 to win a bid. Unless Haymon rolls the dice and tries to force K2 hand in vacating. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense for him to pay 3/4 of the purse to GGG and see Jacobs (more than likely)get knocked out on a PBC broadcast.

Is getting a chance to fight for three belts at once, this time REAL belts, not beneficial?

You just hate GGG and you're SCARED of seeing another one of your heroes knocked out by him. Unlike real boxing fans who want to see this fight, and real champs like GGG who want to make the fight, you are just like the fake champ Jacobs who doesn't want to make the fight, in that you as his fan don't want to SEE the fight either because you're scared GGG would win.

You know deep down GGG is the best fighter of his era, as Danny Jacobs himself said, so you know no one will beat him in his prime. That's why all you have to root for in your pathetic hatred is that your favorite fighters duck him. That way you can try to fall back on "well he still didn't beat Jacobs!" even though Jacobs ducking him is the same thing. Your hatred and your agenda is obvious, but has it stopped GGG becoming the #1 p4p fighter in the sport? Has it stopped him getting the Jordan deal? Has it stopped him becoming the biggest global star in the sport?

You know the answer. Stop being such a pathetic hater, and start actually supporting boxing. Boxing benefits from great fights, between great fighters. I know you're scared of Jacobs losing but you never know what can happen. That's why they make the fights. It's too bad Jacobs is just as scared as you are otherwise we would see the fight, and then you would at least have a chance of seeing GGG beat. If Jacobs ducks then GGG will fight Saunders and get all the belts even sooner, cementing his legacy for all time. At least if he fights Jacobs first, he could catch a shot he doesn't see on the chin. But you're so scared of GGG winning that you don't even want to see that possibility given a chance. I guess you have no faith in GGG losing even to a fighter with elite speed AND power like Jacobs. That's how good you think GGG is, I guess?

You and Andre Ward certainly have a high opinion of GGG, but then so does everyone who knows boxing.

lil'G was offered "double his career high to fight" Canelo, and he passed

so, don't cry to me because your hypejob girlfriend prefers to split the pot fairly with Brook-level opponents and no-hopers..... and yet plays hardball with guys who he don't want to fight

this has been going on for more than a decade LMAO

Jacobs is not much more than a rookie, he has beaten cancer, and he took a long time out of the game..... and yet he still has a better win on his resume than your over-rated girlfriend..... so fk you tardboy

            Jacobs > Golovkin

On one hand you agree with the post that Jacobs needs a huge offer to take "such a big risk." Then on the other you call GGG "Hypekin." Well if he's just a hypejob, why is it a big risk lol?

In my last post I said you either had to be biased, misinformed, or just an idiot. Turns out you're just an idiot after all. "He needs to get paid big to fight such a big risk! No wait he's a hypejob so it's no risk!"

You can't even keep your hate, or your thoughts, straight. Don't hate me but I'm just going to say it how it is. GGG is not overhyped, but your 1st grade teacher damn well had to be.

Those of you who are comparing Kell Brook to Danny Jacobs need your heads examined.

Kell Brook brought something to the table that Jacobs doesn't...it's called an audience.

Brook made $4 million US to fight GGG. Why? because he has a built in audience in the UK. Fight sold out in one day and tickets were crazy expensive. The GGG-Brook fight was also a PPV in the UK.

Jacobs is asking for $3 million to fight GGG. Just to put that in perspective, the majority of Floyd Mayweathers opponents that weren't named Pac, Cotto or Mosley made around the same, 3-4 million dollars and those were fights that were PPV and did 700K - a million PPV's.

Jacobs couldn't sell out in Reading, PA or Brooklyn (his home town).

GGG sold out MSG against a French Canadian.

That's all you need to know.

Jacobs is asking for PPV type money for a fight that would land on regular HBO, or Showtime

                  GTF Outta here!

I guess you forgot it was Hearns signing the checks in that fight and it wasn't a K2 event.

Can any of our fearless boxing financial wizards estimate what this is fight is actually worth?

I hope there is enough money for both of them to make it feasible.
