i think Toney was at his best at HW he was toying with them and haveing fun while boxing perfect.Beside he was a mover Hagler liked inside and trade thats why i see him haveing big trouble with heavy handed James.

Toney's record at Heavyweight is shocking.

Toney is not going to have anything for Hagler, from range he'd pick him apart with the straight left and using angles.

I don't feel like Hagler liked trade and fighting inside, i feel he wasn't afraid of trade, but he was a great boxer, Toney wasn't a mover, his footwork was awesome for his style, but he usually stayed in the pocket to counterpunch, Hagler could outbox-him all night, power isn't an issue in this fight for neither guy, maybe Toney's speed can be a problem, but Hagler was too determinate.

there are ways to bit everybody,Toney showed in many fights what he is able to do when he is on form dont rate him to low ,dude is skilled monster,Hagler is legend but his boxing skills are overrated for me ,he was so good due to determination and jab at most cases .but he could be outboxed.

He showed me he could creat angles like crazy ,make opponents miss and pay all night,iron chin and underated jab,you dont need to be mover to outbox mover,(Canelo-Cotto) ,i think Tony is skilled af and not overreted,but his is not ATG cus he get lazy and lost many in the end ,he could be mutch better,His Record in HW is not shocking,He should be Word Champ in fact,but he lost some when he was old and not so good ,anyway you have fair points too ty for a little discussion ,its not common on this forum.
