How do you know there was ppv upside offered??? We don't even know if it was for 160lbs. No details other than 8-figures. They could be asking for rights or future %-earnings for all we know.

    This is just a first-offer.

Just imagine how much Danny Jacobs would have asked!

      ... but, actually, he can't...

All Canelo/GBP need to do is announce the fight in December 2016 at 160 lbs and Canelo should have the bigger pie and that's fine. Let's do it. What's the hold-up? Hopefully Canelo/GBP come to their senses and announce the fight in December; otherwise, it's just a duck. No ifs or buts.

I think it's great news that GB made some kind of offer, it shows the fight's going to happen. But this is just a technique of buying stock early while the price is low. Golovkin's stock is still rising and back to back wins over Jacobs & Saunders will definitely have a big impact on his stock.

Bottom-line now, this fight is happening no matter what! There's too much money on the table for either side to walk away. So no hurry to take the first offer.
Canelo and Oscar hold all the cards whether we like it or not 10+mil,160 and ppv upside is not going change from offer Gomez and Oscar stated they offered so it's really no point in having a verbal agreement in place that Oscar can walk away from

              A Golovkin/Alvarez ppv is a completely different model from a Golovkin/Jacobs ppv.

Jacob's refuses to give an actual number other than it has to be more than $1.5mill, but it's probably $3mill, b/c that's what Quillin just said. There's not even enough money in that fight to pay Jacobs/Golovkin 50/50 at that point, and no way should Jacobs be getting parity with Golovkin, GTFO. Jacobs has jack **** drawing power. His numbers for the Quillin & Mora rematch were a joke. The guys simply isn't worth the money he was already offered. Yeah, Jacobs isn't worth $1.5mill, no way.

BJS is going to get the money he asked for. Loeffler said they worked out a deal to get him it before, and Saunders recently said he was skeptical that the fight would be big enough in the UK, but after the Brook fight he says he's convinced it will be.

Its funny how you so call boxing fans think you know the business side of boxing! You are the same people who said Manny should take the $40 mil Floyd offered because its the most he had ever made! Why would GGG take a few million because its more than any purse he has collected when there could be $50 - $100 million generated? An offer doesn't mean anything. 2x or 3x more than GGG biggest purse is 6-10 million! That could possibly leave 40-75 million for Canelo & Golden Boy. That's BS & true boxing fans know this.
