Canelo and Oscar hold all the cards whether we like it or not 10+mil,160 and ppv upside is not going change from offer Gomez and Oscar stated they offered so it's really no point in having a verbal agreement in place that Oscar can walk away from

They're the clear A-side, but not all the cards. Canelo still needs Golovkin in order to make a super fight. Canelo had to over-pay Cotto & Khan in order to make those fights, so even when you're the clear A-side, the other side can still have some leverage.

If the fight's a year away, there's still some dynamics worth playing out. Let Golovkin fight Jacobs in December and Saunders in February. It sounds like Canelo might miss his December fight with a hand injury and maybe doesn't come back until May? If so, then Golovkin's might make some serious ground on Canelo.

Gomez came out last night said offer was 8 figures plus ppv upside and they made offer 30 days ago and team ggg didn't even send a counter offer or return any calls

I didn't see the ppv upside, still there's a lot more that we're not hearing. You never know if it's a deal where the upside only kicks in after a certain number of buys, and they could've made it something outrageous.

I'm satisfied they're actually negotiating and that we'll atleast get in a couple of good fights like Jacobs & Saunders while we're waiting.

Can't be for December that's a ref HBO date for Canelo and ggg not fighting on ppv unless it's Canelo not to mention December date might be scrapped for Canelo because of hand injury, Canelo won't return any earlier from hand injury if he do not fight in December until may anyways and would want a fight at full 160 and not that cw bs he be pulling before fighting ggg which gives ggg chance to take care of billy hoe and Jacobs before hand
