The recent statements from Gomez say the offer with upside was made 30 days ago. 11 days ago, Oscar said they would make GGG an offer in the future, with no mention of any past offers, and that the future offer would be a flat fee with no upside.

30 days ago, they made an offer "with upside."

11 days ago, they said they would only make an offer "when the time comes," and that the offer would be a flat fee, no upside, no percentage split.

You figure it out. I have read up on the recent statements which is how I'm able to dissect them so easily and expose them for being full of ****. It is the GGG haters and Canelo fans who have clearly not read up on the recent statements otherwise they would know how contradictory they all are.

        Now:
Eric Gomez, president of Golden Boy Promotions, said it was a "significant offer with upside."

They can't even keep the lies straight within their own promotional team.

First it was "Mexicans don't **** around! I'll fight him right now!" Then he dropped the belt because he didn't want to be forced to fight GGG next under a "false deadline." Then he said "my body isn't ready." Then they said they would make the fight next September.

Then 11 days ago, Oscar said,
When the time comes, we will make an offer to Golovkin...
        Today Oscar said,
Thirty days ago I made an offer to GGG and his people"
I mean what the ****? 30 days ago they made an offer, but 11 days ago they were going to make an offer "when the time comes"? 30 days ago they made an offer "with upside," but 11 days ago the offer they were planning to make "when the time comes" would be only a flat fee and contain no PPV upside or percentage splits?

Huh. I wonder which side wants the fight next, and which side is 100% full of ****.

Would you GGG haters like some coffee to go along with that ether?

Is it possible that since they hadn't responded to the first offer that the next offer would have no upside? Loeffler did acknowledge that he has something from GBP, so maybe there is SOME truth to what GBP is saying.

No. Oscar has mentioned he wants to wait until September for the fight like 50 times. When he says he will make an offer to GGG "when the time comes," that means, according to his own plan, next September. They want to wait until GGG gets a little older and marinate the fight until next September like they've stated 100 times. It sounds like they made a flat fee offer 30 days ago to try to save face knowing that Team GGG would never take a flat $10mil fee for a potential $200 mil fight, which would be a 95/5 split in Canelo's favor, but their plan all along since Canelo originally ducked when he dropped the belt, as they have said many times, is to wait until September.

That is the only truth in what they said, that they offered a flat fee lowball offer to save face so they could blame it on GGG. The real offer that Oscar keeps talking about for September or "when the time comes" still hasn't happened because Oscar doesn't want Canelo to fight him yet, period.

The outcome of the fight will be the outcome of the fight; Golovkin eats too many shots in close for any Canelo fight to ever be easy.

The real truth is that K2 knows that they have a 35-year old middleweight in their hands (who's starting to look rough in making his weight cut) who has yet to deliver a single payday for the company in the 6 years that they've had Golovkin, and the time to get that payday is shorter than they want to be seen acknowledging.

The Alvarez fight is K2's chance to recoup all of the money that they've invested in Golovkin and possibly make a profit, so they're going to hang on for every last penny, for the simple fact that Golovkin winning that fight isn't a given.

15 fights over 5 years; the comparison isn't completely parallel, but Showtime had nearly 3 years and 6 fights to make $250m on Floyd's US TV rights.

How much is K2 on the hook for with Golovkin?
