Canelo will have what Golovkin so desperately wants..... and no sanctioning body will be able to inflict deadlines or drama on the proceedings to help lil'G, because the WBO do not rank him

lil'G will have to negotiate for what he is worth, so he will get 25%, if he is lucky..... and then he will have to face a middleweight version of Canelo..... not the JMW version that he already passed on

And you forgot that Andre Berto earned 4 mil fighting FMJ. So every challenger should earn at least 4 mil no matter his real value. GTFOH you ****** troll.

Some numbers have been floated around in regards to the offers made. It was widely rumored back in January that Saunders was offered £2M [~$3.2M(US)], and Jacobs was reportedly offered $1.5M US, matching his highest purse to date. As far as 'market value', the other poster said most of what I have to say, I would only like to add one thing. If Jacobs, or whichever top MW, cant get 'market value' from fighting GGG, who sells out arenas, who are they going to fight and get market value for?

Market value for the fight against Golovkin. You can't just look at what the fighters last purse was. That's oversimplistic. A Golovkin vs Jacobs fight in NY is worth far more money than the Jacobs Quillen fight. Thus the purses should reflect that. Perfect example is Golovkin Saunders versus Golovkin Brook. Apparently the Golovkin Brook fight is worth giving Brook $4M. Or shall I say giving Eubank $4M. So how was Saunders not partially justified in saying pay me more than $1.5M or come to the UK? My point is, as a promoter, Loeffler talks about making things happen, but seemingly doesn't. Trips next to fights are likely to be essentially promoted by Matchroom.
