Except they've been trying to get Danny. In this case it's the mandatory prolonging the wait. Go ****ing figure.

Oh I guess you diatribes of asinine proportions are the height of class.

You can't seriously be this dense. GGG didn't stay Amatuer until 25 because he wanted to. He comes from a country that had almost zero connection to pro boxing. Even turning pro he had to go to Germany where he stil, couldn't get fights.

Now with SOCIAL MEDIA you can get discovered much faster.

But to pretend like GGG wanted to start pro late is the height of ******ity.

Umm he owns three of four, the their champ, the lineal champ, and the regular WBA all said no.

Can't unify if the other champs won't fight.

Funny you say Ward's name, GGG would have to go up 15 to fight Ward, who now claims he is struggling to make 175.

But Brook coming up 13 to 160 is bad. Oh I see, and Brook will be heavier than GGG come that fight.

GGG will never be heavier than Ward.

It's ok, you know no better.
Stop the fight, stop the fight!

    Winner by TKO

It's so funny to see these GGG haters getting exposed and clowned in every thread. Damn, taking one L after another, getting knocked out again and again, already having serious brain damage and still yapping the same 2 phrases.

Hilarious. They just don't realize that they are part of the GGG movement and increase the buzz.

Man Progrssive_Jedi just KTFO'd that biased Jacobs ducker defender. Haven't seen a poster's "arguments" get destroyed this badly in one post since I joined boxingscene. Progrssive_Jedi have some mercy man you didn't have to do him like that. He don't know any better. You could have at least given him a choice first, offered out your hand and invited him to find reason, before you knocked him out like that. But he probably wouldn't have listened anyway so at least you showed him the truth, even if it took embarrassing him. He will come back wiser for this.

You see haymon investing in this fight? I doubt haymon willing to bid on the fight knowing Jacobs isn't a draw and having a high chance of getting knocked out.

i feel like im the only one who has no desire to see ggg vs saunders or ggg vs jacobs. i can see why people want to see it but i think fact saunders and jacobs are his goto matchups at middleweight shows just how weak the division is right now.

If it goes to purse bid, it's a 75/25 split in Golovkin's favor, that makes it somewhat prohibitive for Jacobs to allow it to goto purse and more in his favor to negotiate a deal (if he wants to keep his belt).

Per the video below (@1:10), Jacobs says he's been offered the same amount of money to fight Golovkin as he received to fight Quillin ($1.5mill). Likely K2 was using the Lemieux model to come up with an offer. He calls that chump change, even though his next highest payday was the first Mora fight where he earned $550k.

With a 75/25 split, Haymon would need to bid over $6mill to get Danny a higher payday than the $1.5mill he says he's been offered. For Wilder/Povetkin, team Haymon bid $5.1mill, and that was when Wilder was getting a 70/30 split.

I don't really care for the match up because they don't have confidence they can win so why believe they can win when they don't believe it themselves.

But then it's not the just mw, I have no interest in him fighting at 168 either because that division is worst. I don't think 160 all that bad it's just that he so much better than everyone else he just makes them look that bad.

I probably won't get that excited about any of his match up unless he goes up to 175 and we know it won't happen.

I really like both fighters it'd be really hard to root against Jacobs especially with his moving and powerful back story. With that said Fingers crossed this fight gets made.

MW division is not much different than ever. It's just that one fighter (GGG) is head and shoulders above the rest.
