Jacobs has shown no inclination EVER to fight GGG. Last interview I saw it was the usual BS."..... well, if the money's right, yes I want him...." What does that mean. The money for that fight is always going to be more than anything he has previously earned so it's all crap. Guy just wants to hold a joke title and call himself a world champ. That 3rd rate belt is the biggest disgrace of all the belts. BUT your time is coming Jacobs, there's no hiding anymore!!

This is some thing I brought up in another thread.

If Golovkin is to beat Brook and Jacobs is to beat Mora then Golovkin/Jacobs would make the most sense as the next match-up.

I keep hearing Loeffler says he wants to make these fights but never heard about K2 actual efforts to make the fights. Not that Trip is scared. It could be that even with the sell outs the ticket prices and TV revenue isn't high enough to pay the good MWs market value.

Some numbers have been floated around in regards to the offers made. It was widely rumored back in January that Saunders was offered £2M [~$3.2M(US)], and Jacobs was reportedly offered $1.5M US, matching his highest purse to date. As far as 'market value', the other poster said most of what I have to say, I would only like to add one thing. If Jacobs, or whichever top MW, cant get 'market value' from fighting GGG, who sells out arenas, who are they going to fight and get market value for?

i feel like im the only one who has no desire to see ggg vs saunders or ggg vs jacobs. i can see why people want to see it but i think fact saunders and jacobs are his goto matchups at middleweight shows just how weak the division is right now.

Jacobs got floored by Mora in their first fight... How some people think he has a chance. Just because he beat Quilin.. who doesn't want to fight no more.. and had a draw against Lee...who got crushed by Sanders... who is scared to fight GGG.

if thats the case then those "good MWs" have over-estimated their value. Jacobs-Quillin, both NY guys, and with and all-NY undercard couldnt even sell 8,000 tickets, and did crap tv ratings. What makes his "market value" several million dollars? Keep in mind he just took a 50% pay cut from the Quillin fight to the Mora fight.......
