Golovkin wanted to fight Saunders, but he doesnt even want to fight Rosado, would rather just take a year off. Golovkin wanted to fight Jacobs, but upon hearing the WBA would order the fight, suddenly, after many months of inactivity, made himself unavailable. Golovkin wanted to fight Eubank. Eubank, realizing a real deal is near, decides to be difficult to work with. After being rejected by several fighters he wanted to fight, Golovkin settled for fighting Brook.

I understand though. Your man is Ward. Your man chooses to fight guys like Brand (twice). Chooses to fight guys like Rohan Murdoch. Chooses to fight guys like Paul Smith. What he's saying is that if GGG's promoter won't pay Jacobs what he wants for the fight, then GGG should be stripped of his title. He really is as biased and ****** as that.

Highly doubtful that Jacobs isn't paid well for the fight. He may go bonkers and think he's worth 2 mil, just to avoid GGG, but I'm sure GGGs people know they won't get him in the ring without paying something reasonable.

Even though he lost to BJS, Eubank Jnr is a bigger name in the UK than either Bill or Kell Brook. Brook is reaping the benifit of the attention that Jnr's challenge to GGG got from the media in the UK and also from Eddie Hearn being able to plug Brook/GGG on Sky sports news, which everybody in the UK watches.

Frank Warren, Saunder's promoter, doesn't have the same ability to reach the mainstream and casual boxing market with his own platform, Boxnation, which is watched by hard-core boxing fan subscribers only.

None of those guys - including Eubank - are even close to say, Khan..... who is himself not even close to someone like, Canelo.

It is not accurate to gauge the potential success of that fight on the opposition, neither of whom are a draw..... most people will buy that fight to see Golovkin.
