Brook has never been on Box Office. His last fight was Bizier, for crying out loud. And before that, Frank Gavin. Those fights would never be on Box Office. This is the only PPV headline event he's been involved in - and even then he's just a dancing partner, in his own country, to GGG whose selling the tickets.

As for nobody caring about Degale in the States, I never said they did. My point was, that Degale is still more of a household name here (due to winning the Gold medal) than Brook - who is barely even known out of Sheffield. It doesn't matter if they dislike Degale or not, he's still a bigger name.

Again, on what planet has Kell Brook ever been described as a draw ?

How can this possibly be described as a money-fight for Golovkin ?

And then we see lil'G petitioning the WBA to sanction that "defence" SMH

They are LITERALLY tip-toeing through the tulips to lame-their-way to Hopkins record by fighting no-hopers..... and this is only possible due to the utter ******ity of their 97,000 "fans".

Golovkin is a hypejob, in the very truest sense of the word.

ggg is 34 and hasnt had a meaningful fight, and there was someone who was at 168 that would've fought him, and beat him...but he wants to fight WW

Loeffler did not inquire about Degale, because he was happy with Brook.

Smarten up, they are taking the fights they want, and passing on the rest..... just like everyone else.
If you think GGG and his team are just like everybody else, why do you spend so much time and effort shitting on them?

Why not spread your shit around a little?

GGG vs Brook sold out the 02 Arena within 11 mins of tickets going on sale ... or is that another silly fairy story?

Even if they had reached out to DeGale, I don't think DeGale's team would have accepted it since they were already eyeing a unification bout with Badou Jack. This truly was a situation where they had run out of viable options. So if Brook was willing to sign, they were going to settle with that payday in a British debut. Can't fault them there. The question for GGG critics is this: what other viable name is out there that would have been willing to fight GGG in September (what is that, 7-8 weeks of camp)?

Also, Eddie Hearn & Matchroom doesn't manage DeGale...DeGale is a Haymon fighter. Why would Eddie mention another promoter's fighter?

GGG's goal is to become undisputed. Only then will he officially move up. That's not to say he won't fight a 168 guy in the mean time.

Middleweight isnt exactly murderer's row and the only current top ten middleweight he has faced is lemieux...after he blitzes Brook, he needs to step TF up, not in weight but at least fight a top ten guy from 160
Jacobs, Eubank Jr., Saunders, & Canelo...those should be the last 4 160 fights for GGG. After that, there's nothing left to prove at 160. In about a year & a half GGG could be at 168 officially. That's if those guys decide to stop ducking.

To be fair, Kell Brook is the best technical boxer GGG has faced up to this point. And the UK fans seem to be excited for it...the event only sold out in 11 minutes.
