I don't see GGG fighting DeGale anytime soon. He has to many mandatories do and he's already behind schedule. Also he had to ask for an exemption to fight Brook so know telling what they want from him next???
i poop on billy joe for not fighting him, but besides that GGG is just wasting his own damn time..fights arent even exciting to tune into anymore
Should of just paid the $4 million and got that belt. I'm not saying Saunders is worth even $1 million but he would of hit his goal and Cab move on to bigger better things. ..
Yeah, that's the same response from Hearn that I linked to. It's a weird situation. Hearn says he has a contract with DeGale but DeGale says he didn't sign anything. "He never had me. He never had a signed contract with me so it's his fault anyhow."
Maybe Hearn has a contract that only applies to Chunky's UK fights, so if he fights Jack in Vegas, Hearn will have no part in that?
Maybe you should stop listening to childish bull**** and stop making childish excuses?
Loeffler did not inquire about Degale, because he was happy with Brook.
Smarten up, they are taking the fights they want, and passing on the rest..... just like everyone else.
Nobody in the states cares for him that much and If DeGale was to ever fight Groves again it would most certainly be happening in the UK.
Also, I don't think he has that much of a rabid fanbase in the UK either in fact quite a lot of the British public dislike him.
Brook has done nothing but PPV events in his last however many fights so nah, I'm afraid you're wrong on that one.
What?? Brook has done nothing but PPV events?
Brook has never been on Box Office. His last fight was Bizier, for crying out loud. And before that, Frank Gavin. Those fights would never be on Box Office. This is the only PPV headline event he's been involved in - and even then he's just a dancing partner, in his own country, to GGG whose selling the tickets.
As for nobody caring about Degale in the States, I never said they did. My point was, that Degale is still more of a household name here (due to winning the Gold medal) than Brook - who is barely even known out of Sheffield. It doesn't matter if they dislike Degale or not, he's still a bigger name.
GTFO. They didn't even bother to ask about DeGale because they didn't want that fight, they wanted to fight the WW.
exactly !
After 10 years as a pro, knowledgeable fans can see whats up.
After 10 years as a pro, casual-fans are STILL accepting lies and excuses.
I wish that fanbase actually realized how ****** they look.
If Golovkin was even close to what they say he is, he would have more meaningful wins than he does excuses...... but nope, no meaningful wins, just TONNES of excuses..... count them all.....
..... they used every excuse in the book to avoid Ward, Mora, Lara..... and the only reason why they provided every excuse in the book is because they did not have 1 genuine reason.....
..... and nobody will ever understand why they refused to negotiate on the weight with Cotto/Canelo after running their mouth for FOUR YEARS with that "anyone from 154-168" line.
I think I can safely say it now..... the blueprint is clear..... they will NEVER take a dangerous fight EVER!..... they will lame their way to Hopkins record by beating cans, and they will avoid every possible threat.
Gennady may take on a dangerous opponent after he beats Hpkins record, not sure..... but all I see from him now is..... spoiled protected b1tch.
I thought Golovkin would only fight outside of the Middleweight division for "big fights"? Does a DeGale fight qualify as a big fight?
last year, they approached Chudinov TWICE..... and they also mentioned fighting that PPV legend Ramirez
Forget the 168 lies..... what about the Kell Brook lies ?
On what planet has Kell Brook ever been referred to as " a draw " ?
How on earth can this be described as a " money-fight " for lil'G ?
Khan is twice the draw Brook is, even more..... and Canelo is TWICE the draw Khan is, even more..... so Golovkin walked away from life-changing money when he refused to negotiate on the weight with Canelo, instead preferring to fight an unknown welter.
