I only said that Canelo is recognized as the lineal MW champion because he holds that belt. You never provided any evidence that contradicts that. And you think you are so smart, but you "genuinely" don't understand how boxing works. There are 4 world boxing organizations, which means there are 4 recognized world champions for every single weight class. The lineal was only created to designate the lineage of champions...the guys who beat the guy who beat the guy, etc. If Canelo is holding onto the 160 lineal title, that makes him a MW champion...until he's stripped, or someone beats him for it.
