In 1994, boxer Chris Eubank wore riding boots, jodhpurs and an English jacket to a photo shoot at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. This was prior to his match with German boxer Graciano Rocchigiani and Eubank's decision to wear this ensemble was political.

'When it came to taking photographs, I was very theatrical. I was standing there in my English Gentleman's clothes, pointing in the direction of Hitler's bunker with the pea**** strut in full flow... Let's not forget, this wasn't just their German boy against the Englishman. It was a black Englishman, dressed like an aristrocat'
    (Chris Eubank, The Autobiography, 2003)

"I'll never forget him fighting in Berlin, against Graciano Rocchigiani. The German fans were shouting, 'Sieg heil!' and, 'kill the black man!' And Eubank wouldn't get in the ring. He was walking around, snarling at them. And I'm going, 'get in the bloody ring!' because I don't get paid until he gets in the ring. And he says to me, 'No, I'm soaking it up. It's wonderful.'"

The Benn-eubank series was bigger than ALI-FRAZIER?? ARE...YOU...INSANE??????????????? ALI=-FRAZIER was a world wide phenomanon... Benn and Eubanks was an english/european thing. There is NO comparison between them WHAT...SO...EVER. And I fought Roccigianni..... 10 rounds.... NO WAY does he stay with Roy Jones... NO WAY. As a matterof fact, after we fought I very much wanted a rematch... I definitely 100 percent felt I could beat Roccigianni in 1997.

no offence scully but u'd have 2 be crazy 2 suggest ali/frazier was a greater rivalry than benn/eubank. benn/eubank rivalry was so special that it carried over into celebrity life & every household in uk

& benn & eubank were apparently the most popular boxers across the commonwealth (thats about 90% of the planet)

BUT EUBANK WAS ALREADY IN EUROPE, JUST A EUROPEAN FIGHTING ANOTHER EUROPEAN. THIS IS ABOUT AN AMERICAN IN RJ GOING OVER TO EUROPE, NOT A EUROPEAN FIGHTING ANOTHER EUROPEAN

mOSCHINO.. YOU OBVIOUSLY have no idea what Ali-Frazier 1 in 1971 was all about.. that fight practically stopped time. Benn and Eubanks? Please. The ENTIRE WORLD waited to see what would happen with Muhammad and Joe. ENGLAND waited for Nigel and Chris. There is NOOOOOO comparison.

One of the few fighters I think could have beaten a prime Jones at 160/168 is Gerald McCllelan. That's probably just cuz I'm a huge G-Man fan.G-Man would really only have a punchers chance if it went the distance RJJ wins by decision.
