Close to 11,000 views and counting. With that kind of traffic, Rick Reeno's gotta be toying with the idea of turning this place into a split boxing/MMA forum.

Boxing Vs MMA fans. It'd make Mayweather Pac look like some Bush League bull****.

LOL some boxing fans got no idea. No one who won a title in the UFC is a hype job. To win a title in the UFC you gotta fight increasing better & better opposition until you gotta beat "the" champion. Think this is boxing fans commenting on things they no little to nothing about more than people knowledgeable about the UFC.

Boxing & the UFC are extremely different in how they make names. Boxing tends to find a talented, sellable guy & then get him the key fights over several years to make him a star. In the UFC they find a star by throwing two similarly talented guys in the octagon together over & over & seeing who rises to the top. For example Felix Verdejo is being molded into a future superstar & he's not fought a live body yet. The UFC had a prospect (Sage Northcutt) who was being hyped by some MMA media as a future superstar, but the UFC threw his ass into increasing deeper & deeper water & he got his ass choked out. He might still be a superstar, cuz unlike in boxing a L doesn't hurt you as much, but he'll have a trial by fire & get there by winning the fights not being maneuvered cleverly like Arum tends to do for years before a promising guy fights a live body.

Now Mcgregor has fought at 170, does that make him a 170 fighter too?

Unlike boxing, a loss in MMA doesn't mean the end of the world. So many different styles of fighting means anything can happen

              Well given Berto fought Floyd

There is no END in boxing, at least not for Haymon fighters.

All the so called "losers" are continuously getting fights for good money.

It's certain fans and the Floyd ****riders who write boxers off after a loss...way too much emphasis is put on "0"'s

              Al Haymon Bless God

Hard to hate on a guy that really put UFC on the bigger stage...but can't deny the American Ninja.

Enjoyed the card. Was glad to see Tate get the win. Great finish.

I won a few quid on Diaz winning via submission, had a feeling that one was coming in.
I'm a McGregor fan, have been for a long time. I like how he was open to test himself and face guys in bigger divisions, so i'm not going to knock him.

The hype was getting out of hand though. Reading posts online about how he would beat the 'old' GSP, and how he would beat Lawler were just plain silly in my book.

I give props to Conor, Nate, Miesha, and Holly. This was no easy night for any of them. MMA is very unpredictable and that's what makes it so interesting.

Now I want to see the winners move forward and the losers bounce back. That's what greats do. I'm sure REAL boxing fans would agree.

And to the person who said McGregor is the Broner of MMA...let's not go there. Broner had all that hype, yet he has never impressed against a top fighter. McGregor put away one in just 13 seconds. That shows that he's legit and his loss to Diaz doesn't change that.

McGregor went out like a punk

At least Broner finished against Maidana

Maidana hits 50 times harder than flabby and sick Diaz
