Again, not by submission so what's your point?

That you can quit in boxing if the opponent is too much for you or you've had enough.

      McGregor quit.

Uhhhhhhhh, this was not a boxing match.

Again, he was caught in a rear-naked choke, something that's not used in boxing.

          It doesn't matter. He quit.

I love how you are just trying to keep it to "tapping" when original clearly said:

He quit. Don't care how it came about. He. Quit.

Actually, it does matter, seeing as you just gave two reasons why someone quits in boxing, which is not the same as when someone is caught in a choke. Broner was never caught in a choke as it's not used in boxing so it's irrelevant.

So once again, this is MMA, not boxing.

No, it doesn't matter because the comparison was about the people, not the sport. You just tried to delve deep into something that was very basic.

McGregor was called the Broner of MMA by some. Original pointed that Broner has never quit. This is the 3rd(?) time McGregor has quit.

He couldn't handle the punishment anymore, so he gave up. Broner has never done that.

              He quit. I'm done here.

If these two people are not in the same sport, then yes, it does matter. One sport has things that the other one doesn't and what's being talked about involves just that so yeah, it matters.

Quitting against punches and quitting against chokes are two different things. Neither Broner OR Conor quit against punches. Conor submitted to a choke as that's what his sport involves. Broner was never caught in a choke as that's what his sport DOESN'T involve.

So in the end, it's irrelevant. One sport is MMA and the other is boxing. Simple as that.

Looks to me like dude quit before that choke was applied. Seemed like a perfect way to get out of something he couldn't take any more.

My evidence of this is by dude literally rolling over and almost offering himself up for that choke. He wasn't fighting it off like we saw holly holm clearly do in the earlier fight.

I think he quit. He was submitted, but it's because he had no more to give in that fight.

                    • He was fighting at 170 FFS. Lol. That's not "ending the hype." He can go back to 150 and dominate.

He actually was working Diaz quite nicely until he got caught by a much bigger guy.

Really no shame in this loss, it's almost ridiculous and comical.
